This year's cover showcases his piece "In Your Dreams," an acrylic painting featuring his daughter, Olivia, standing next to her 105th anniversary Harley-Davidson.

They During the Sturgis rally, Jacobs had two booths at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City; one at Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City; and one at the Motorcycle Expo on Lazelle and Fourth Street in downtown Sturgis. "I sold over 400 pieces of art last year during the rally," Jacobs said.

"Ninety percent of what I've sold this year has been 'In Your Dreams." There are 100 larger sizes and 299 smaller sizes of that piece." Molly Albrecht touch up their lip gloss or lipstick, said Jacobs, a San Diego resident. "My style Is called photo realism, and I wanted to depict something that I see." Jacobs' art reflects his love for motorcycles. "I've been riding motorcycles since the mld-'70s. It's part of my fabric. It's what I enjoy, and most people paint things they enjoy," he said.

Jacobs has painted full-time for more than 20 years. In 1993, he became the first gallery artist to become officially licensed worldwide by Harley- Davidson. He also specializes in artwork for wines and spirits and racing. "Acrylics are my favorite medium," Jacobs said. He also is the officially licensed artist for the Marilyn Monroe estate, the Elvis Presley estate, Chrysler Corporation and the Chevrolet Motor Company.

His artwork can be found in more than 8Q countries. "I look up to him as an artist, said Jacobs' nephew, Todd Joa of San Diego.
