Wurts, who was 75, died Tuesday night in Bellevue Hospital following an emergency operation. He was senior partner in the photographic firm of Wurts Brothers, 15 E. 40th Manhattan. A pioneer in the field of architectural photography, having been one of the first to photograph the New York skyline, he was noted for Lorimer Williams, Boy Scout Leader Lorimer F. Williams of 1421 80th Boy Scout leader and a veteran of World War died yesterday at the Veterans Hospital in the Bronx.

He was 51. A native of Brooklyn, Mr. Williams was employed Navy Vard for 10 years. During the first War he served overseas with the 77th Division and the 2d DiviA sion. He was for many years scoutmaster of Troops 314 and 318 and was associated with Camp Dongan for Boys at Narrowsburg, N.

J. Mr. Williams third vice commander of St. Bernadette Post. 166.

C. W. a member of Thomas Dongan Council, K. of C. He is survived by his widow, Mrs.

Margaret M. Williams, and a daughter, Grace T. Williams. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the home: thence to the R. C.

A guard of honor from the New York State Merchant Marine Academy at Fort Schuyler, the Bronx, where he had been enrolled as a cadet midshipman six weeks ago, will attend the services. He was 19. Mr. Ramsay died last night in Fordham Hospital, the Bronx, of injuries received when the car in which he was riding struck a tree after a rear tire blew out.

William Osborne, aviation cadet of 28 Lincoln Place, New Rochelle. a friend of Mr. Ramsay, was killed in the crash. Born in New Haven, young Ramsay had been educated in New Rochelle public schools and had been graduated from the high school here last June. He had applied for admission to the Merchant Marine Academy at once and was appointed a cadet midshipman Jan.

Mrs. Mary Keating, Resident 35 Years The funeral of Mrs. Mary Stephenson Keating. wife of John J. Keating, president of the Keating Trucking Corporation, 70 South Manhattan, will be held tomorrow with a solemn mass of requiem at St.

Rose of Lima's R. C. Church on Parkville Ave. Mrs. Keating, who was 52, died Monday.

Mrs. Keating, a native of Manhattan, had lived in this borough for the past 35 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Tech. Sgt. John Howard Keating, with the army in England, and a brother, Joseph.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. M. Macpherson, In Clothing Trade Manhasset, Feb. 24 Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow night at the Knowles Funeral Parlor for Malcolm Muro Macpherson, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul A.

Franklin, 1 Jackson Place. He was 81 and was born in Bothwell, Ontario. Mr. Macpherson was in the men's clothing industry and for many years was buyer of men's clothing for Abraham Straus. While with that firm, he lived at 236 Stratford St.

Later he went with J. Steinberg Sons, 80 5th Manhattan, and was active with that firm at the time of his death. Father Grimes' Death Held 'Irreparable Loss' Dr. S. J.

Morrison of 5110 14th chairman of the 66th Precinct Co-ordinating Council, announced today that the council and executive board, of which Father Grimes was member. will attend the funeral. He said the council members consider Father Grimes' death 'an irreparable loss." "He was outstanding in the community for his farsightedness, clear thinking and concrete advice and his interest in the problems of juvenile delinquency." Dr. Morrison declared. "His labors were given freely regardless of race, color or creed.

who died Tuesday night at the age of 51, will be held Saturday at the church, 57th St. and 13th Ave. At 3 p.m. tomorrow the body will be taken from the rectory, 1273 58th where Father Grimes was stricken with a fatal heart attack, to the church, there to lie in state until the following day. The divine office will be sung at 8:30 tomorrow night.

At 8 a.m. Saturday the Rev. Patrick J. O'Connor, S. P.

will offer a mass, which the children of the church school and their parents will attend. The requiem mass will be offered a.m., with the Rev. Thomas Doyle, S. P. as celebrant; the Rev.

Thomas J. Brown, S. P. as deacon, and the Rev. Manuel Gonzalez, S.

P. as sub-deacon. The Rev. Thomas Kelly, pastor of Notre Dame R. C.

Church, Manhattan, will be master of ceremonies. Members Archbishop Hughes Council, K. of which Father Grimes was chaplain, and members of the Holy Name Society will act as a guard of honor. Following the mass the body will be placed in the crypt of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Father Grimes was pastor of St.

Frances de Chantal for 17 years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Shea of Cambridge, and Alice Grimes of Dochester, Massachusetts. McCarthy Estate Estimated Over $20,000 Mineola, Feb. 24-William McCarthy, for more than half a century prominent in political, educational and business affairs of Mineola, left an estate valued at more than $10,000 in personal and more than $10,000 in real property, according will, filed in Surrogate's Court here today.

He died Feb. 11. The will, dated Aug. 19, 1930, places the entire estate in trust for the widow, Mary E. McCarthy, adding the provision that on her death the property is to be divided equally between the two children, Earl U.

McCarthy and Viola Stephens. The children and the Nassau County Trust Company of Mineola are named as executors and trustees. Lawrence J. Fitzgerald A requiem mass for Lawrence J. Fitzgerald, who died Tuesday in his home, 316 7th will de offered at 10 a.m.

Kudner, head of the advertising agency bearing his name, at the 5th Ave. Presbyterian Church, 5th Ave. and 55th Manhattan. He died last Friday in Los Angeles at the age of 53. The Rev.

Dr. John Sutherland Bonnell, in his eulogy, spoke of the "distinctive contributions" Mr. Kudner had made to the Red Cross both in World War I and the present war, as a "patriot and humanitarian." Among the honorary pall bearers were Lt. Gen. William S.

Knudsen and Quentin Reynolds. Others present included Rear Admiral Charles E. Rosendahl and former Representative Bruce Barton. The body of Mr. Kudner was to be, cremated and the ashes taken to his ranch near Carrizozo, N.

24-Sidney Zollicoffer Mitchell, founder of the Electric Bond and Share Company and once reputed to have been the wealthiest man in the world. left an estate valued formally at "more than $10,000 personal and more than $10,000 in real property," the bulk of it to his wife and son, his will, filed in Surrogate's Court here, shows. Dated Aug. 11, 1943, the will places one-third of the residuary estate in trust for the widow. Mrs.

Neva Mitchell, giving her a $20,000 annuity life. The principal, on her death, 1s to revert to the trust of the son, Sidney A. Mitchell. When he dies it will be divided among four grandchildren. The son is to receive two-thirds of the residuary plus a $50,000 outright bequest.

On his death, his share of the residuary also is to be divided among the grandchildren, Mary 21; Anne Joan, 19; Joanne, 18. and Sidney Mitchell 16. Mr. Mitchell, who died at the age 81 on Feb. 17, also left bequests of not more than $2,000 each to other relatives and employes.

All household furnishings, jewelry and other personal effects. as well as a stamp collection, the archeological left to Mrs.

Adra Newell, the widow. She also is authorized to select not more than 1,000 of the old coins and other antiques now housed in the American Numismatic Society building at Broadway and 156th Manhattan. The remainder of the collection is to go to the Numismatic Society and Yale University and the society also is to receive a $25,000 endowment for publication of numismatic works and $50.000 to purchase coins. Copeland, 26A Lakeside Drive. She was 80 and had been since Christmas. Mrs. MacCallum was the widow of Percy MacCallum, who was eastern manager of the Power Regulator Company of Chicago at the time of his death in 1901. She was also a niece of Samuel Houghton.

who was associated with Mr. Macy in founding the Macy store and afterward went to Boston to found the department store of Houghton Dutton. Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. MacCallum lived there until 20 years ago. She was A member Baldwin Chapter 779, Order of Eastern Star.
