THE HERALD Tuesday, September 24, 1974 Section I --7 Obituaries John C. Schultz Funeral service for John C. Schultz, 93, a lifetime resident of DCS Plaines, Is today in Ochlcr Funeral Home, Lee and Perry streets, DCS Plaines, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will bo the Rev. Allen H.

Fodder of Immanuel Lutheran Church, DCS Plaines. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Mr. Schultz, a retired teamster, who was self-employed, was born In Des Plaines, Nov. 6,1880.

He was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines. Surviving are his widow, Lizzie, nee Finke; four sons, Gerhard! of Waukegan, Harold of Des Plaines, Herbert of Wheeling and Alfred of Indianapolis, two daughters, Mrs. Grace Jacobsen of Arlington Heights and Mrs. Ethel Jurs of Mundcleln; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded In death by three sons, Mclvln, Edgar and John and a daughter, Mrs.

Mildred Kelfer. George Coldits George F. Coldltz, 89, a retired carpenter, died Monday morning in Americana Nursing Center, Napervllle. Born in Germany, Dec. 13,1884, he was formerly of Des Plaines.

Visitation Is today from 3 to 9:30 p.m. In Oehler Funeral Home, Lee and Perry streets, DCS Mr. Coldltz was a veteran of World War U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna nee Elbers.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday In the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plajncs. Surviving are a son, George and a r-ln-Iaw, Bcrnlce Coldltz of Northlnke; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Lcssmann of Chicago.

Marian G. Gray Mrs. Marian G. Gray, 50, nee Dahlin, a long-time resident of Mount Prospect, died Monday morning in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Rldgo, after a short illness. She was born Nov.

8,1923, in Illinois. Visitation is Wednesday In Friedrlchs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Mount Prospect, from 3 to 9:30 p.m. Surviving are her husband, John a son, John A. and daughter-in-law, Stormy Lee Gray of Aurora; three daughters, Mrs.

Karon (Fred) Salrln of Mount Sterling, Diane and Marilyn, both at homo; one grandchild; mother, Mrs. Grace Dahlin of St. Petersburg, and mothcr-ln-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Gray of Milwaukee, Wls. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

CARLSON, 46, of Dcerflcld, died Sunday in Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park. He was managing operational engineer for Advance Transformer 2950 N. Western Chcalgo, with over 20 years of service. Born in Chicago, Dec. 19, 1927, he was also a veteran of World War II.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. In Kelley and Spaulding Funeral Home, 1787 DocrflcW Highland Park, and where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John Usry of Deerfield will officiate.

Burial will be in Rldgcwood Cemetery, Des Plaines. Surviving are his widow, Ellen; two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Edwin) Spledel of Park Ridge and Mrs. Jean Bender of Wheeling; a son, Craig, at home; two grandchhlldren, and a sister, Shirley Carlson of Mount Prospect. Joseph C.

Vitale Visitation for Joseph C. Vitale, 79, of Prospect Heights, is today in Galewood Funeral Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Chicago, from 4 to 10 p.m. A retired self-employed salesman and a veteran of World War Mr. Vitale died Sunday in Americana Nursing Center, Arlington Heights.

He was bom in Illinois, March 14,1895. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday In St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Prospect Heights.

Interment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines. Surviving are his widow, Pauline, nee Balsamo; a son, Mario of Prospect Heights; five sisters, Mrs. Helen (the late Chuck) Salvatore; Mrs. Lucy (Dr. Paul) Fabian; Ida Vitale; Mrs.

Anne (Dr. Henry) Luckhardt and Mary Vitale, end a brother, Louis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Antonio. Clarence Pontius Clarence B. supervisor of Vernon Township in Lake County for 10 years, died Saturday in Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park.

Mr. Pontius was a Lake County Board member, and a past president and charter member of the Vernon Township Lions Club. A resident of Deerfield for the last 20 yean, he was born in Geneva, Dec. 23,1911. Visitation is today from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Dundee Wheeling. Burial will be In Ascension Cemetery, Llbertyville. Surviving are his widow, Mary, nee Creaby, and a daughter, Patricia Ann of Deerfield. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Wheeling.

Donald Yatteau Donald F. Yatteau, 62, of Des Plaines for 12 years, died Sunday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines. He was a retired U.S. Air Force warrant officer with 23 years of service. Visitation is today in Meyer and Boehmer Funeral Home, 1733 Brown St, Dayton, Ohio, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Mr.

Yatteau was born in Rochester, N.Y., Dec. 6,1911, and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by a widow, Henrietta, nee Llcscr; three daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline (Jerry) Sullivan of Fort Lea- vcnworth, Cheryl of Chicago; and Donna of Des Plaines; five sons, Dr. Ronald of Knoxville, Dennis of Erlanger, Thomas of Chicago; Richard of DeKalb, and Jerome of Littleton, eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs.
