Margolis. Zaimi was one of the first graduates of the Albanian-American School, which was conducted by the Near East Foundation In Kavaje, Albania. She came to America when she was 16 to make her home with Mrs. Duryea and finish her education. Durine Miss Zaimi's freshman year at New Col lege of Columbia University, she wrote an autobiography which was published by Ives Washburn and had a wide circulation.

Her sopho- more year at college was spent at i Wellesley, after which she returned to Albania for a year, returning to New College and finally finishing I her college work last June at Teachers College.
