Among the important announcements is the engagement of Miss Elizabeth Curtis Bolton, daughter of Mrs. William Cleef Bolton of 759 E.

18th St. and the late Mr. Bolton to James Joseph Gaine son of Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Gaine of Belle Harbor.

Miss Bolton attended Maplehurst, Convent of the Sacred Heart, and was graduated from Eden Hall, Philadelphia. She is a junior member of the Brooklyn Woman's Club. Mr. Gaine attended St. John's Prep and Manhattan College.

He is associated with the National City Bank. The wedding will take place in November. Miss Geraldine Jackson, daughter of R. Gilbert Jackson of Third Garden City. and the late Mrs.

Jackson, has chosen Saturday, Oct. 11, as the date for her marriage to William Kistler Coors, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Coors Jr. of Golden, Colo.

The wedding will be a home event, at the Jackson residence, with Bishop Ernest Milmore Stires, Bishop of Long Island, officiating. A reception will follow. Miss Jackson will have Miss May Coors, sister of Mr. Coors, as her only attendant and Adolph Coors 3d will be best man for his brother. Miss Barbara Anderson of Garden City, whose engagement to Lieut.
