An extra day of horse racing is scheduled for September 5th. Entry forms are to be turned Into the falrgrourds no later than the 3th by 4-Htrs and August 30th for all others. 4 events ill featureoniv theworksof local participants.

Horse racing Is scheduled from 2 5 m. for each day ith the Marcus Daly triple crow event scheduled for the first time. The triple crow a event ill start In Kallispell then Journey to Missoula and finish here with J1.3H0 being given to the horse that wins all three events. extra rides this year and they will occupy the area previously used for the old car showing. There will be a display of mlnltaure buildings in Ravalli county, a horse and mule team pulling contest.

A new feature this year will be the Children Petting Zoo which will feature small animals.

Most of the ork that John has worked on are from patterns but he has trli to ma ke a few of Is ow pieces of art. John says that he doesn't feel that he has the experience yet to taekle the hole work on his own and that the designs are the difficult part to handle. The art originally began In Germany and Is railed "scherrnsi hnltte In that country. The designs may beromparrd to cutting paper dolls or snow flakes from paper but Is much more delicate.

The intricate works take anyw here from three to five hours each to complete and that depends on the complexity of the design and as tn whether the design ran berut on a fold or has to he rut as a single sheet.
