Faster Schedules On April 14, other Southern Pacific coast line trains will move on faster schedules. The Morning Daylight will arrive in the terminals of Los Angeles and San Francisco 15 minutes earlier than at the present time. Train 72, the Los Angeles local, will leave San Francisco at 8:20 a.m., arriving in Los Angeles 11:20 p.m. In the opposite direction, train 71 will leave Los Angeles at 6:30 a.m. arriving in San Francisco 9:30 p.m.

These trains will now give daytime local service to most poirts on the coast division. Train 70, "The Coaster" will leave San Francisco at 7 p.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 8 a.m. for connections with "The Sunset Limited" to New Orleans. Train 69, "The Coaster" from Los Angeles, will leave there at 7:45 p.m.
