A ALE 3 MAN WANTED Part and full tima. All types of boma Improvements Excellent earnings. PRescott I IMFL0YMINT Thorn Lord Wants Action on Platform TRENTON fflPI Democratic senatorial candidate Thorn Lord today described the Democratic platform as a modern document" and urged Congress to implement it in its current legislative program. Lord, an active committee member in drafting the platform in Los Angeles, described it as a "modern platform infinitely stronger than the Republican platform. He praised Governor Nelson Rockefellers contribution to the GOP platform, particularly the civil rights plank, but said that, according to published accounts of the Republican convention it appeared to be bitter medicine for the New Jersey GOP delegation to take.

Reviewing the realistic" goals announced by presidential candidate Senator John F. Kennedy, Lord, called for Congressional action on medical care for the aged, an accelerated mutual security program, housing and education legislation and a minimum wage of $1.25 an hour. The Democratic senatorial candidate pledged that, if elected, he will work for meaningful" civil rights legislation as well as other progressive measures spelled out in the Democratic platform.
