By JOHN HARRINGTON Independent Record Want to feel like a tril-lionaire? You can do it, right downtown. At Wayne Miller Coins, the eponymous owner just I purchased a fistful of cur rency from Zimbabwe in increasingly large incre ments.

Hes got a bill worth $5 I billion, another worth $100 I billion and the largest worth an astonishing $100 trillion. You can own it for nine bucks. Its worth is as a novelty item to show the extreme of what can happen if a country continues to over-spend and under-produce, Miller said. Hes selling the notes, but hes also holding them up as a cautionary example of the ravages of inflation. In light of the hundreds of billions of dollars in economic stimulus spending flooding the American economy in recent months, many observers believe a period of inflation in this country is right around the corner.

Miller doesnt believe the U.S. Mint will resort to printing $100 trillion notes anytime soon. But inflation wouldn have to approach those levels for it to have a devastating effect on the nation economy. While nobody expects the U.S. economy to follow a course like that of Zimbabwe, a number of economists are concerned that the current machinations of the government to try and stave off a recession will lead to inflationary problems in the tuture.

Baucus, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee that is drafting a major health care reform bill this month, insists this cavalcade of money is not unduly influencing his work. No matter the issue, Max always puts Montana first, said his spokesman, Ty Matsdorf. Rick Grieve recalls about Cory Adam Andrewski was his sly, mischievous grin.

It would make the pastor wonder if he should laugh, cry or not even ask. Andrewski, 16, will be remembered as a free spirit with remarkable energy, Grieve said during a memorial service Saturday morning. Grieve, who served as Andrewskis camp counselor, said he struggled over the last week to find the right words to say. Its hard to make sense of days like today, he told about 200 people gathered at First Assembly of God. Andrewski was shot and killed on June 3.

The alleged shooter, 17-year-old Sebastian Olivares -Coster, also seriously injured Kahner 15, and Joey Wohlers, 16. Theres no other way to describe this but absolute tragedy but we cant let it be in vain, Grieve said. Andrewskis grandfather George McCauley urged those in attendance to relieve themselves their pain, jealousies and vindictiveness in honor of his grandson. Be a better person that would be his goal, he said. The gathering was a chance to mourn Andrewskis death and celebrate his life.

He was a people-person with a keen sense of humor, McCauley said. Andrewski would share short jokes such as How do you cook a crocodile? In a crock pot," he added. When asked, Andrewski would say he wanted to be a bum when he grew up. Believe me, as much as he wanted to be -hed never make it as a bum," McCauley said with a chuckle. Andrewski was born in Rome, New York and moved to Montana in 1999- He was a student at Capital High School.
