2-- Section 4 Monday, March 25, 1974 THE HERALD They're dreaming of a perfect wedding day Pamela Dancy Mary Ann Lobes Brenda Waldrep Cheryl Josephson Joanne Pieper Carolyn Jendrzejek Pamela Jean Dancy's engagement to Jeffrey Risteen, son of the Landon H. Risteens of Mount Prospect, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Dancy of Arlington Heights.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Forest View High School and her fiance of Prospect High. Their wedding is planned for July 20 in Trinity United Methodist Church, Mount Prospect. Birth notes The engagement of an Arlington Heights couple, Mary Ann Lobes and Ralph Robert Kell, is announced by Mrs. Betty Lobes. Her daughter will be married Sept.

14 to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kell. Mary Ann's father is the late Joseph D. Lobes.

She is a graduate of Hersey High School and attends Harper College. Ralph works for the Milwaukee Road since graduating from St. Viator High. The engagement of Brenda Waldrep to Raffaelli, both of Des Plaines, is announced by Brenda's parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Edsel Waldrep. Dennis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Raffaelli. Their wedding will take place in June.

Brenda, an Elk Grove High School graduate, works for Biltmore Tire Elk Grove Village. Her fiance is an accountant with M. Loeb also in Elk Grove. He is a graduate of DePaid University, Chicago. June 8 wedding in Arlington Heights is planned by Cheryl Ruth Josephson and James Edward Allen, according to an announcement by Mr.

and Mrs. Raymond Ernest Josephson of Arlington Heights. Cheryl's fiance is the son of the William Ernest Aliens of Decatur, Ga. The couple both work in Decatur, Cheryl for the DeKalb County Board of Education and James for Protective Life Insurance Co. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in mathematics and was affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega' Sorority.

He attended Mercer University, Atlanta, Ga. Joanne Mary Pieper and her fiance, Rober A. Siewerth, are planning a late fall wedding. Their engagement is announced by Joanne's parents, and Mrs. Joel A.

Pieper, 224 Fleetwood Lane, Elk Grove Village. Roger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Skiewerth, 46 Westfield Lane, Des Plaines.

Both he and Joanne graduated from Elk Grove High School. She now attends Harper College, and he is with Roger's Insulating and Roofing Co. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gecan of Barrington announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Ann Jendrzejek, to Michael P.

Prete, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Prete; 2730 Cardinal Drive, Rolling Meadows. A May 25 wedding is planned by the pah-. A '72 graduate of High School, Carolyn works for Able Cable in Barrington.

Her fiance, a '69 graduate of Forest View High, is employed at Gateway Printing Schiller Park. Their little sister is for real! Music in the air Bride Stephanie Watts Last Friday Rebecca and Rachel Ramsey finally knew that their new baby sister isn't just a figment of their parents' imaginations. Adding to the confusion were the Hi Dottle doll clothes their mother sewed and then took to the hospital. The new baby, Angela Caroline, was born Jan. 4 weighing 1 pound 14 ounces and went 'home weighing 4 pounds.

Dauther of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus W. Ramsey, 126 Auburn Hoffman Estates, Angela was born in Northwest Community Hospital more than three months prematurely. Shortly after birth she was rushed to Lutheran General Hospital which has special facilities for such tiny preemies.

Nurses at the hospital also sewed wee garments for Angela. Grandparents of Angela and Rebecca, 8, and Rachel, 4, are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hamm, Mission Vlejo, Calif. NORTHWEST COMMUNITY Erica Kris ten Rocunh was a March 7 arrival for Mr.

and Mrs. Herman Schneiderman, Chicago, are the grandparents of Rachel. Kelly Marie Schaefer weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces when bora March 11 to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Schaefer, 1005 N.

Carothers, Prayer breakfast for clubwomen The second annual prayer breakfast for Arlington Heights Woman's Club is Thursday at 9:30 a.m. In St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen. The club's religion and ethics committee, in conjunction with the music committee, will be in charge.

A prayer experience entitled "To Whom Do You Pray" will feature short talks by a person from the Bahai, the Christian Science, Unltarlan-Unlveralists and Protestant faiths. The music committee bos arranged for a bell choir concert of sacred music, and the 7th District IFWC music scholarship winner, Janet Auer, will sing. Stuart Briscoe, former rugby player from England who is now an author and international speaker, will be the special guest. He and his family now live in Milwaukee.

Bierbower can be called at 824-2299 for further information. Child abuse program Wednesday at Harper Harper College has scheduled a program Wednesday at 8 p.m. on child abuse. Marilyn Collins, volunteer professional sponsor of the Des Plaines chapter of Parents Anonymous, works with adults who want to stop beating their children. Mrs.

Collins will talk about the six types of child abuse and how parents and nursery school teachers can work together to combat the problem. A Naperville mother working on a doctorate in social psychology, Mrs. Collins deals in the day-to-day reality of a chronic national problem. The meeting will be held in building at Harper College, Room 106. The public is welcome.
