William T. Ockendon of 71 E. 77th Manhattan, has selected Saturday for her marriage to B. Gratz Brown, son Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Bruce Brown of Great Neck. The ceremony will be performed at St. Bartholomew's Church, Manhattan, and the reception will be held in the Perroquet Suite at the Waldorf Astoria. Mrs. Basil Rauch of Manhattan will be the bride's only attendant.

The bridegroom will have as his best man Robert Irwin of Garden City and his ushers will be Dr. Frank Constantine of Baltimore, Hamilton, Marr of Cheboygan, and Samuel Scribner of Bronxville. Miss Ockendon attended Gray Court School in Connecticut and was graduated from the Gardner School of New York. Later she studied music and has sung frequently over the radio. Mr.

Brown attended St. Paul's in Garden City and was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a member of Chi Phi and of the University Club of Detroit, and engineer with the General Motors Corporation in Flint, Mich. His grandfather was B. Gratz Brown, former Governor of Missouri and Senator from that State, who in 1872 was nominated for Vice President on the Liberal ticket with Horace Greeley.

Fashion Show The Blessed Virgin Sodality of Holy Name Church, of which the Rt. Rev. Mons. James F. Flynn is pastor, will hold a mother and daughter meeting on Tuesday evening.

In conjunction with this meeting a fashion show will be given by Martin's Department Store. Miss Dorothy Sheedy will be the soloist of the evening. Members of the sodality will act as models. Miss Dorothy L'Allemand president and the Rev. Frank P.

The bride wore a dress of white satin and carried white roses and lilies of the vayyel. Her veil was of tulle. The maid of honor was Miss Charlotte Gercke and the bridesmaids were Miss Doris Coughlin and Mrs. Elizabeth Sauve. The bridegroom had as his best man Raymond Messlohn.

His ushers were William Brockman and William Daly. The bridegroom is a graduate of Fordham University and a member of the Marine and Field Club. The bride attended St. Brendan's School and is a member of Iota Kappa sorority. After a trip to Virginia Beach, they will make their home in Flatbush.
