Eleven of the mishaps occurred in the afternoon and evening of Christmas Eve. Clifton, collided at 1:45 p.m.

A car driven by John Forsatz, 18, of 305 Washington Avenue, Clifton, struck two parked cars at 6:30 last night in front of 14 Montgomery Street, Clifton.

The 28 passen- -gers and six crewmen scrambled out before it exploded, The pilot of the plane was the most' seriously hurt, suffering head and hand injuries and a broken arm. The planes engineer also suffered leg andt-hand injuries. Mrs.

Emily Nilsen, whose hus- band lives in Norway, was thr only American seriously injured. She was burned. Mrs. Nilsen ha no U.S. address.

Two other Americans slightly injured. They declined to give their names to avoid alarming relatives. The other American unhurt was Miss Mar--gee Coleman, of Yucaipa, The Lockheed Con-4; stellation was a total loss. Most of the baggage was destroyed. French and Austrian officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

On a flight from Paris to Vienna, the plane had made a scheduled stop fn Munich and takeoff was delayed until ice melted from Its wings. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weiss, 2 Valley Road, entertained Sunday to mark his birthday which occurred yesterday. Also honored was their nephew, Frederick Karl Hornstra, son of Mr. and Mrs.

John Hornstra, 18 Edison Street, who was three years old Monday. Guests were Mrs. Mary Sekula, Miss Ollie Sekula, Miss Mary Sekula, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson the Allwood section contained only seven roads: Brighton, Chelsea, Morris, Peru, Lyall, and Allwood Roads, and Kenter Place.

Shortly after World War 1, before developers were Interested in Allwood, the Brighton Mills built the early homes for their employes. Church Dinner Next Monday Lakeview Group to Hold Party Later Hit-Run Accidents Two ticket were issued to drivers one for drunk driving. There were two hit-run accidents. i 1 A Franklin Lakes man was listed in fair condition early today in St. Josephs Hospital, Paterson, with injuries suffered when his car smashed into a railroad overpass pillar on Broad Street at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police, the car, driven by Trank Cervino, 45, of Franklin Avenue, Franklin Lakes, was going east on Broad Street when it struck the center pillar of the Lackawanna railroad overpass, continued along under the overpass, narrowly missing several other pillars and finally came to rest against the overpass retaining wall on the far side. Cervino was thrown out of the car and was unconscious when police arrived. Hits Parked Car Leo Fitzpatrick, 35, of 19-C Richland Court, Clifton, was charged with drunk driving by police after his car struck a parked auto shortly after 5 p.m Wednesday in front of the Allwood Bakery, Market Street. The parked car is owned by George Davignon, 443 Kingsland Street, Nutley. Fitzpatrick was released in $250 bail pending court appearance January 9.

Robert Van Wyngaarden, 20, of 566 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, was reported in fair con dition today in Passaic General Hospital. He was injured at p.m. Wednesday when his car and a truck operated by Albert Martin, 38, of '488 MacDonald Street, Garfield, collided at Mt Prospect and Sargeant Avenues. John Keliock, 60, of 48 Cla-verack Road, Clifton, complained of injuries at 10:45 Wednesday night when his car struck a parked auto, owned by William Puglisi, of Wyckoff, on Valley Road near Nelson Street, He was taken- home, but went to St. Jo sephs Hospital yesterday.

He was treated and released. Other Accidents Mrs. Romona Bossick, 30, of Cameron, N.Y., was treated in St. Josephs Hospital and released shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday after cars driven by her husband and Samuel Richardson, 18, of Jersey City, collided.

A parked car, -owned by Barbara Wynne, 5 Henoch Avenue, Clifton, was struck by a hit-run driver at 5:30 yesterday afternoon when it was parked in front of 149 Clifton Avenue. A parked car owned by John Humenik, of San Antonio, was struck by a parked car at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday while it was parked in front of 28 Kulick Street. Charles Lozosky, 23, of 4 Sargeant Avenue, Clifton, received a ticket-for careless driving after his car struck a parked auto at Mt.

Prospect Avenue and Brighton Road at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. The parked car is owned by Alice Abbott, 542 Broadway, Paterson. In other mishaps: Miss Ellen Rutberg, 49, of 66 Broadale Road, Clifton; Miss Ida Sanders, 46, of 435 Marshall Street, Paterson, and Carmine Scalzo, 49, of 53 Sewall Avenue, Clifton, were the drivers of cars involved in a rear end collision at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Main Avenue near Piaget Avenue.

A car driven by Milten Fischer, 53, of New York City, and a panel truck, operated by Joseph Vida, 49, of 54 Rosalie Avenue, Hornstra, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell, Mr, and Mrs. Nicholas Paulik, Mrs. Harold McFadden, Mr.

and Mrs. Harold McFaddenj Jr. and Mr. and Mrs, Robert McMullen, also John, Susan, Charles and Robert Hornstra. Mr.

and Mrs. Louis Bindi, 81 Edison Street, were hosts Christmas Eve at a family reunion. Guests were Mrs. Ralph Bruzzi-chesi, Philip Bruzzichesi, Bud Bruzzichesi, Mrs. Eletta Bindi, Mr.

Her parents entertained last week-end for 25 guests in honor of her 18th birthday December 15 and also her grandfather, Thomas Lang, 39 East Ninth Street, who marked birthday Monday, Marking their 20th wedding anniversary Wednesday were Mr, and Mrs. David Burns, 44 Gould Avenue. They celebrated at open house for 25 guests which also marked Christmas Eve. They have two daughters, Lor raine and Arlene. Mrs.

Burns is the former Edna Hacker, of Albion Place. Mr. and Mrs. William O. Jack-son, 51 Fenner Avenue, were at a dinner party and Christmas party Wednesday.

Stoleri Car Crash Kills 3 Teen-Agers BERWICK, Pa. (PI Two girls and a boy were killed and five other teen-agers were injured last night when two cars collided headon. Police said the dead youngsters were riding in a car stolen from a used car lot in Hazleton a few hours before the accident. They were Richard Fogel, 14, and Sharon Brosinski, 16, of Hazleton, and Noella Ferlinsky, 14, of West Hazleton. Three boys in the car were injured.

Police said they don't yet know who was driving. The car collided with one driven by Fred Derr, of Mifflin-vllle. Derr and a passenger, Marjorie Seltzer, also of Mifflin-ville, were in fair condition. The other injured, also ip fair condition, are Bernard Andresski, 15, and Raymond, 16, and David Yurista, 14, all of West Hazleton. Baby Born in Car Wreck, Doing Well ATLANTIC CITY (P) Mrs.

Walter Dredden gave birth to a baby girl last night after her husband, racing to beat the stork, failed to make a curve on the Black Horse Pike and crashed over a concrete curbing. State Trooper Donald Ebert reached the scene to find Mrs Dredden and her baby trapped in the back of the He got mother and baby out and completed the birth by tying off the infants umbilical cord with the lacing -of his boot. An ambulance took the Dred-dens to the hospital where all were reported doing nicely. They were unhurt in the accident. dia, 262 East First Street, were dinner guests yesterday of Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kinzel, 167 East Sixth Street, were guests at a dinner party on Sat urday evening at Mayfair Farms, West Orange. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs.

and Mrs. Paul Cattani and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Casole. The birthdays of Mr.

Kinzel and Mr. Mancini were celebrated. Inmate Steals Gun From Yule Hosts NASHVILLE, Tenn. (K) A juvenile detention home inmate stole a pistol and ammunition and fled from a private home where he had been invited for Christmas dinner, police reported. Lewis Waldman, 13, was arrested two hours later by patrolman H.

E. Lay of the suburban Belle Meade Police Department. Lay said the boy still had the .38 caliber pistol and 75 rounds of ammunition in his pocket, but did not resist arrest. Waldman was the special Christmas guest of S. T.

March. Marsh told officers the boy had been given toys and the family was just sitting down to the table when the youngster went back to the living room to take another look at the Christmas tree. When he failed to come back Marsh called police. Montclair Heights Mary Beth Marschalk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

M. Novack and children, Joanne and Michael, of Clifton. Family of Five Still Not Found HOOD RIVER, Ore. (TP) An- ether lead has failed to produce any trace of the Portland family of five which disappeared 19 days 380. Yesterday, a party of mountain climber crawled down 300-foot Hog Canyon near here after buz- zards were reported circling the area.

They found nothing. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Martin and their three daughters left home in their car December 7 to gather Christmas greens in the woods. They haven't been seen since.

Only one clue to their where- abouts has been found. That was a gasoline purchase bill which arrived at the Martin home last week. It showed the purchase of five gallons of gasoline Decern- ber 7, at Cascade Locks, a few I miles west of Hood River. Authorities believe the Mar- tins were killed in an automobile accident on some seldom-traveled -road in north central Ore gon. Missing with their parents 13, are Barbara, 14; Virginia, and Sue, 11.

Watch-Night Service At Presbyterian Church On New Years Eve the First Presbyterian Church of Clifton will hold a watch-night service beginning at 8 p.m. First on the program will be the film Mr. Hemo, the Magnificent.

Mr. Hemo" is the story of the human blood system which explains everything but the spark of life itself, and this the film leaves in the hands of God. The film blends entertainment with information to clarify this complex subject. Live action, cartoon characters, microscopic and x-ray movies and skilled used of animation demonstrate the work ings of the body. At 9 there will be a song service led by' the Rev.

J. Willis Horton, followed by a brief worship service. Refreshments will be served. The Christian- Endeavor Society of the Lakeview Heights Reformed Church will hold a progressive supper on Monday starting at the home, of their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs.

John Gies, 234 East Seventh Street at 5:30 p.m. A Christmas party will be held after the supper at the church. The Couples' Gub of the Lakeview Presbyterian Church held a roast beef dinner for members and their families Friday evening, followed by a Christmas party. Entertainment was given by hr. and Mrs.

Fred Schwoner, Jr. Serving on the supper committee were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lay, Mr. and Mrs.

Philip Riker, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoogstra. Mr. and Mrs.

and Mrs. James C. Dean showed slides they had taken in Japan. Cub Scout Pack 69 Holds Yule Party Cub Scout Pack 69, sponsored by School 16, Clifton, held a Christmas party last week. It was attended by 110 cubs and their parents.

Caspio Caprio, president of the schools PTA, accepted handmade Christmas cards from the cubs for the organization. The boys also decorated a Christmas tree with ornaments they had made. Grab-bag gifts were exchanged Receiving awards were Alan Whitten, Stuart Kent, Barry Magid, Ronald Sachs, Ralph Caprio and Allen Zubatkin. Kenneth Pyrtko, who entered the pack, was awarded a bobcat pin. Mrs.

Natalie Petersens den won the attendance award. Mrs. Carole Caprio was in charge of refreshments. The next meeting of the pack committee will be held on Jan uary 6 at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Chinese Auction in Allwood Church Guild Sponsors Event January 12 Retailing Lectures NEWARK Vacationing col- lege students interested in a career in retail merchandising 2 have been invited to attend a two-day lecture period Monday and Tuesday at Bambergers De- partment Store. The lecture will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days. Woman's Frozen Body Found in Niagara River NIAGARA FALLS, N. Y.

(Pj Police are investigating the death of an unidentified woman whose frozen body was found on a bank of the Niagara River yesterday. Investigators said the woman appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old and was fully clothed. They said the body may have lain exposed at -least 24 hours. No pocketbook or any identification paper were found. An autopsy was scheduled for today.

Miss Barbara Timm, who attends Douglass University, is spending the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Timm, 332 Mt. Prospect Avenue.

Miss Timrn is a junior. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hudak, and their daughters, Nancy and Virginia, of Rockaway, formerly of Allwood, were holiday guests last evening of Mr. and Mrs Michael R.

Hudak, 105 Brighton Road. Earlier in the day they were dinner guests of Mrs. Hu-daks mother, Mrs. Cornelius Smith, 212 Van Houten Avenue, Passaic. Miss Lois Moore, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Harold L. Moore, 748 Allwood Road, has a few days off for Christmas vacation from the Stenotype Institute in New York City, where she is enrolled. James Higgins, 81 Chelsea Road, is recuperating at home after undergoing surgery at St. Josephs Hospital, Paterson, on December 9.

A Chinese auction will be a special feature at the meeting of the Womans Guild in Fellowship Hall of Allwood Community Church, on January 12.
