-William W. Hudson, former mill foreman of the Carnegie Illinois Steel Homestead Works, died yesterday at his home here, 356 Elm St. Mr. Hudson was born in England and came to this country in 1906. Prior to his retirement five years ago he had served as general maintenance foreman in the Slab and Plate Division of the Homestead Works.

He was active in church work and was elder of the First Presbyterian Church here and superintendent of the Sunday School. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 269 and the Rotary Club. LIST OF SURVIVORS He leaves his wife, Mrs. Margaret Williamson Hudson; four daughters, Dr. May Hudson Bennett, Mrs.

Eileen Eagleson, both of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Alice Kendall of Linden, N. J. and Dorothy Wright Hudson, at Marietta College; four grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph, in England. Friends are being received at the Ligo Funeral Home, 421 New Castle Slippery Rock.

ServIces will be held at 1 p. m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Dr.

Whittles, Missionary WAYNESBURG, Dec. The Rev. Dr. Thomas D. Whittles 77, prominent Presbyterian missionary, author, and first football coach at Waynesburg College, died yesterday Carlton, according, Whittles to word authored received here.
