CLARK PITTSBURGH'S first t'HF television station, WKJF-TV. Channel 53, has lined up another sports show. This time it's "Boxing From Kastern Parkway Arena" on Monday nights from 10 to 11 p. starting a week from today. Curiously enough, this one WKJF TV is taking from the Pu Mont network.

AlthouRh it has been listed on the Du Mont schedule for months, the matches have never been seen over WDTV for one very good reason: "Studio One." No one could blame 'the Channel 2 management for that decision, but the addition of the Monday night boxing to Pittsburgh TV should add to the delight of fight fans. Altoona has been carrying the Monday nights bouts for some time. They start them at 9:30, showing the preliminary matches, too. It has been increasingly evident that there's nothing wrong with the Channel 53 operation that a little more power wouldn't cure. Many servicemen, pressed for time anyhow, have been telling their customers to wait until WKJF-TV boosts power (about the first of the year) before trying to get the station.

Reception is good in the West End and in many high spots around town, but it leaves much to be desired elsewhere.
