Riverview Amusement Park increases its famous thrill content by the addition of a new major roller coaster, Jetstream, when its 62nd season gets under way Friday, May 14. The giant Chicago fun center, located at Western and Belmont has designed the Jetstream to be as smooth and fast as its name. Its dual trains travel over 2,000 feet of undulating track with dips and turns on two levels following a figure-eight pattern. Big and thrilling, it is nevertheless, geared for the enjoyment of all age groups except the very young.

Jetstream is the first full scale roller coaster to be built in the middle west in more than a decade.
