New Features Are Available At Essex Estates Fourplexes 4 Units Sold Out In Surge Ditz Crane, major Santa Clara County homebuilders, has announced the completion of sales at four of their Bay Area subdivisions almost simultaneously. "A tremendous surge in buyer demand hit us in late spring and continued steadily through the summer," states the firm's vice president, Jchn A. Ditz.

"The result has been the complete sellout of all homes at Waverly Park (Mountain View), Bishop Park (Concord), Rancho Manuella (Los Altos Hills), and St. Francis Estates (Sunnyvale), all within the past thirty days." Ditz Crane's Waverly developments in Mountain View commenced in 1962 with Waverly Place and continued through Waverly Manor, Waverly Square, and Waverly Park. A total of 314 homes in the 28,000 to $40,000 price range were constructed during this five year span for a total sales volume of more than 111,000,000. Bishop Park was a two year project of 123 homes and total sales of about Rancho Manuella included but ten homes, all of them on a minimum of one acre and selling in the 60,000 to bracket. Francis Estates in the $30,000 to S40.OO0 range has also just been completed after a little more than one year of home construction. Ditz Crane presently has four other subdivisions in progress and two new premium developments in Los Altos and Cupertino on the drawing boards.
