Theres plenty of Interest being displayed in the Stowe-Ramsay affair for the Class A championship of the W.

P. I. A. L. at Graham Field, Wilklnsbum, and the Class titular fray betwepn Sewickley Borough and Mason-town at Charleroi High Schools fine new stadium.

While coaches of the other 150 or more scholastic grid teams in the section are relaxing and putting the cares of the season behind them, the respective mentors of the four title contending teams are hard at work drilling their charges for the struggles at hand. RAMSAY SPIRIT HIGH Ramsay High, of Mt. Pleasant, Jumped into the job of getting ready for the game with Stowe yesterday, after Coach Ned Culler and his squad had returned home from a game at Birmingham. where the Western Pennsylvania eleven was handed a 33-7 setback, last Saturday. Culler found his gridders in good spirits despite the lop-sided defeat at the Southern city, and expressed confidence that his team would give a good account of itself against Stowe.

Bprnie Andrews, Stowe's young coach, feared today that illness might weaken his team in the title contest. A few of the Township gridders are suffering from colds, but Andrews is hopeful of having his team at full strength. BOAST FINE RECORDS Two long winning streaks will be at stake in the Sewickley-Masontown tussle. Sewickley has won eight in a row since dropping its opener to Wilkinsburg, while Masontown has chalked up 15 wins in succession, 10 of which have been recorded this season. In addition to winning over Edgewood, Neville, Leetsdale, Bea-- ver and Ben Avon in divisional games, the Sewickley gridders have taken Bellevue and Coraopo-lis, of Class and Norwln, of Class AA.

The team won with points to spare in all its Class games, except the exciting battle with Beaver, which ended in 20-19 victory for Sewickley. After getting past Centerville safely by a 7-6 count in an early season fray, Masontown swept through its divisional games with ease. Coach Gene Franks eleven trimmed Point Marion, i Maple town, East Bethlehem and Belle 1 Vernon for its other Class victories. There is so much interest being displayed at Masontown that there has been some talk of chartering a special train to Charleroi for the game. If a train is not chartered then it is likely Masontown followers will flock into Charleroi in a caravan of special buses.

Incidentally, starting time for both games will be 2 oclock. 14 Do 411 ft I 61 16 Do 40 69 61V 27 Do r(s 4s A5 iom 3 Ik ill 4 49 ftini 3 lk 3 is 46 7 Do 4 lti Ore 77 PF South Ky gtyg Ml 5 Do gen As 86 ho 1 lo Kin 4 ,1 23 lo VI () 77 IV BW i 4, no, 1 00 SUIfv Min tl 40 13 Slnnil Oil NJ HI 1,9 ouiophnk.r 0. tv 45 70 ftT.x Coii, 3'- VI loi in, 21 in in 0 l'o 79C A Iv 11 Third Avn On no 12 1id.UA Oil a1-, 02 0 Un Oil Cnl 3 02 II Ln Ic arf 41 2000 lo I Vo 7i 21 I'd I 70 2 nil 111.
