The deceased had lived in Lub-! bock county only about three months coming here with his family in February, shortly after he had" purchased one of the finest section of land in the county. They also had prepared a large body of land for cultivation for this year. The deceased raised and gathered a larg-e crop of cotton near Roxton, Texas, the place of his former home, I and had held this cotton awaiting for better market conditions. He had planned to leave on Saturday for Roxton, we nre told, to see about the disposal of the cotton.
