The polls will be open from twelve o'clock noon, until seven o'clock p.m. Central Daylight Time.

The Town Council of Hull has granted to the Boyden-Hull School District the r-igjht to "develop arid use the present ball park in Hull -for an athletic field: This area, however, is not adequate, area-wise, for the entire athletic program of the school, and therefore an additional approximately two acres in size, is proposed for purchase and This proposed property adjoins the Hull ball park on the west along the railroad property. The two properties would give adequate space for baseball," track and football. the lease agreement between the Boyden-Hull School Board and the Town of it was emphasized that facilities would te provided for the Church softball leagues, Western Christian's outdoor sports, summer recreation program, girl's softball and other organizational events. The board of education is calling for a special vote to secure the per. mission to use the money from the 2 a mill levy passed toy the vote of the 1952 for the purchase of the additional ground and the development of the athletic site.

Permission to the money from this levy will not increase the mill- age levy of tlhe district. V'd'Stouwe A- De Jong Folk Will Return To Standard Time August 31st Miss Linn Van (Roekel, 16 year old i daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G-ersihom i Van Roekel of Hull was riamed 4-H Queen at the Sioux County Youth OFair last Thursday 'evening. Tfae winner, chosen from thirteen candidates by popular vote during the first two days of the fair, was announced just ibefore her coronation as part off the Thursday evening ILinn was sponsored -by "the Sheridan Livestock Growers 4-H Club, the Capel (Belles Club and the Lincoln Loggers.

In order to avoid conflict with other communities in. the area, as well as inconvenience to school sdhedules and business hours, the residents of the Hull and Boyden area will return to Central Standard Time on Monday, August 31, at 2:00 a.m. Therefore all residents are urged to set their clocks back one hour when they retire Sunday night. Technically a iperson should arise at 2:00 a.m. Monday and turn his clock back to 1:00.

L. V. Grooters of Boyden informed this office that at a special Council (Meeting held early this week, it was officially decided that the Town of -Boyden would, return to Standard Time on August 31. (Mayor C. G.

Sawyer of Hull, also made a similar official announcement t'hat the Town of Hull would return to Standard Time on the a- stated date. Appreciation Day Is Today, August 20 Father-Son Game For Boyden Little Leaguers iMr. and -Mrs. Hoeder 'from Sioux Center and John 'Statema and Carol were visitors at the Sam -Fylstra home Sunday. VanBatavia Book Rent All students are required to pay a textbook rental fee. The high school rental fee will $6.00, kindergarten and elementary pupils will pay a fee of $5.00. The rental fee also covers "the cqst, of workbooks. Students are expected to pay their book rental fee on the first day of school. Milk Program Milk will be available to pupils in the elementary schools during the morning session at a cost of forty cents for twenty days.

Children participating in the milk program should bring their money on the opening school. The first serving of milk will be on Tuesday, September 1. Lunch Program A nutritious hot lunch dinner will -be served at noon at a cost of thirty cents per day on a monthly basis or thirty-five cents for a single meal. If a child is to purchase a lunch tick, et, it is requested that he make payment for the six dollar lunch ticket on the first day of school. New Additions The new additions in iBoyden and Hull are expected to be completed toy time school opens.

The Boydert Elementary School has been crowded but with the addition of four elementary classrooms, a lunch room and remodeling several toons in the old building adequate facilities will be available.
