Three more of Hull's overseas service boys have returned to home and friends during the past week. They are.

Sam, Dykstfa, Robert DeVries and Martin Van Noort, who are mentioned in the order of their length of service in Europe. Dykstra served in the famous Rainbow division; was gassed in the latter part of July, 1918, was in the hospital many weeks, and invalided home. DeVries served many months in Base Hospital Corps No 2D, putting in considerable I i in England, near London, and us recently discharged at Camp Dodge, arriving in Hull Saturday evening. Van Noort went over in September, 191S, and on account of the sudden termination of hostilities did not experience any hard fighting, but like all who were called, was ready to take what came to him. All were glad to see the hoys looking as good as they do and heartily welcome home.

They will go to housekeeping on the present Tuenis Brunsting home farm, where the best wishes for future success and happiness-follow them. Herman DeVries attended the Inter- Shorthorn Breeders' Association's sale and annual meeting, at Sioux "City last -week. TKe sale was a success and Herman sold two yearling bulls at a good price. The association is composed of breeders of Shorthorn cattle from Iowa, Nebraska South Dakota and Minnesota and it decided it wanted Herman for president for another year and re-elected him to that Wednesday, Mr. Wm.

VanderGaarde and Miss Kathryn Dykstra were made man and wife. Mr. VandeGaarde is one of the most promising young farmers--one that will do his utmost to care for, cherish and protect the one who has placed her future life in his hands. We have not heard just where they will live, but we wish Mr. Vande Gaarde and his bride a happy and prosperous future.

Everybody's Doing II! All over the United States during the last week of March the Red Cross is collecting used clothing to be used in relief work in the liberated countries. You can have part in that work on Saturday, March 29th by taking what you have to give to the Town Mall where Mr W. S. Tuttle will be ready to take care of it. You know that stiff hats and flimsy dresses and para- solsand canes, and carpets can not be used.

But every kind of garment even if it needs a little mending to make it serviceable, for all ages and both sexes, is urgently needed. Since clothes will be subjected to the hardest kind of wear, only garments of. strong and durable materials should be brought in. In addition to used clothes, piece goods cdtr ton flannel and other kinds of cloth from which Jo make garments for new born babies, ticking, sheeting, blank ets, woolen goods of any kind and shoes of every size -art abked for. In this campaign the Red Cioss i assuming i charge of the work and the respc risibility lies with the Red Cross from the time the clothing is collected is ultimately distributed in Europe.
