I was fcutHaU My daughter-in-law, Jane, ithe from a medical journal and I -want to share it with you. It is compiled by Michael J. Moore, who says when aipatient conies to him ask' ing lor something to calni bis or her nerves, he hands them a copy of H.

He says (taking Hfe one day at a time arid making the most of each day is fat more beneficial than any drug the has to offer. He calls a collection of thoughts "Just For Today." "Evetjr day is a precious gift. It is ours to or to fill with satisfying accomplishment. Real achievement comes from filling each day with garrized activity. For success comes One day a time and, as one prodtiddve day follows another, our achievements can anuute and delight us.

iVVt FOB TODAY, I will try to Hve through Khis day only and tidt. tackte my whole life problem at once. TODAY, I will be happy. This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said: "Most folks are as happy as they make up 'their minds to be." JUST FOR TODAY, I will try to my mind. I will learn something useful.

I will not 'be a mental loafer. I will read something that requires effort, thought and' concentration. JUST FOB TODAY, I will exercise my soul in three ways; I will do somebody a good turn and not.get found out; if anybody knows of it, it will not count. I will do at least two things I don'it want to for exercise. I will not show anyone that my feelings are hunt; they may be hurt, but today I will not show it.

JUST FOB TODAY, I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, talk low, act courteously, criticize not one bit, not find fault with anything, and not try to improve or regulate anyone but myself. JUST FOB TODAY, I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have it-1 will save myself from two and indecision. JUST FOR TODAY, I will have a half hour all by relax.

During this half hour, sometime, I will try- to get" a better perspective of my life. JUST FOR TODAY, I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid 'to enjoy what is 'beautiful and to believe that, as I give to the world, so the world will! give back to me." Give it a try, will you, and sec if life doesn't become a little more meaningful to you.
