And what could delight them more than some OLD-FASHIONED SUGAR COOKIES 2 cubes margarine 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 'teaspoon almond extract Vi teaspoon vanilRKextraet 2 cups- unsifted flour 2 teaspoons baking powder sugar foe dusting finished cookies Cream softened margarine and 1 cup sugar; mix in egg, almond and vanilla extracts. Sift together the flour and baking powder (I add a pinch of salt, but the margarine may make them salty enough for you) and stir into-the margarine mixture. Blend well; cover tightly and chill for two hours.

Then, on a floured board, roll-out dough thick and cut the size you prefer; place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees 8 to 10 minutes, or until brown. Remove from baking sheets and sprinkle with sugar while still warm. YIELD: About 5 dozen cookies. Mrs Violet Merriott won two blue ribbons and the Rock Springs Extension Homemakers educational booth won third. Mr and Mrs Ross Gore visited Tuesdiay evening in the home of Mr and Mrs John Graham. They recently bought the Ertb Splnks farm on Evansville Creek. They built a beautiful brick home there.

Won't you be neighborly and visit them and extend the warm hand welcome to them? They moved from Nevada. Sunday School attendance was 97. Brother Harold Chambless, pastor of Rock Springs Baptist Church, reported a good time for those who attemdfed the youth rally at Tenkiller. He encouraged many more to plan to go in October as only young people went from Rack Springs and there are about 40 young people who could go. Mr and Mrs Ross Gore were Sunday dinner guests in the home of Mr and Mrs GJ.

Calhoun. Hosts at Pizza Party and Mrs Ross Gore were hosts Saturday night at a pizza party. Those attending were: Mr and Mrs Jack Wakefield, Mr and Mrs Jimmie Neff, Mr and Mrs Ted Hendrix and children and Mr and Mrs JXJ. Merriott and children. Aiter supper, they all watched the Miss America Pageant on television.

A good time was enjoyed by all. Visiting over the weekend in the W.F. Aufifet, John Auffet, and Boyd Holiman homes' were Mr and Mrs Kenneth Taylor and children of Tulsa. Mr and Mrs Edgar West visited in Tulsa over the weekend with their children, Mr and Mrs Wayne Miller and children and Mr and Mrs Bill West and children. Mr and Mrs Charles Crozier, Robert and Paula visited Friday evening in the Borne of Mr and Mrs Ross Qore.
