Kennedy of Portageville, in a Dec. 17 wedding. Miss Loretta Jean Mason Is Betrothed To R.H. Kennedy Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Mason announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Loretta Jean, to E.H.C MEETING NOTES Town and Country Extension Homemakers Club met recently at the home of Mrs. Newman Conyers with nine members present. Mrs. T. B. Richardson presided in the absence of t h e president, Mrs. John O'Neal. The meeting was opened with the singing of a Christmas carol and the devotion was given by Mrs. Weldon McHaney. During the business session new officers were elected. They are president, Mrs. Richardson; vice president, Mrs. C. C. Elliott; secretary, Mrs. N. C. Patterson; treasurer, Mrs. Woodrow Nutt; and reporter Mrs. R. L. Adkisson. The officers will be installed at the Christmas party which will be held in the Hospitality Room of the First National Bank Dec. 15. During the social hour Mrs. Nutt won the game prize.
