FULL LINE OF NEWLY IMPORTED DRESS FABRICS Now "THE TIMES tells you all that The Frank Sid dalls Soap has been tlioroudilv tested in the houses of INCLUDING SILKS i gentlemen connected with this establishment and i that it will really do everything claimed for it. Tho Market Very Dull Bead ie Strong and Kverythinu Else Weak. The stock market yesterday wasextremcly dull and with the exception of Beading was stationary or lower. Reading stock to be voted on at the next annual election mast be registered on or before the 8th instant, and this fact appears to be exerting a considerable influence over the present price of the stock.

Its advance in the face of the weakness not only of all the other coal stocks, but of almost everything else, dividend payers and fancies, is hard to account for on auy other theory. There were rumors afloat yesterday that Mr. Gowen was soon to return home, having been entirely successful in his mission abroad, but as they were nothing more than rumors and of the same general tenor as those to which the street has been treated numberless times during the summer and fall, it is not likely that they had much influence on the price of Reading. It is certain that during the past two or three days some one in New York has been buying Reading extensively, and it is said that Gould and Vandorbilt are contesting for the control of the property. This may be so, or it may be that some heavy holder is calling in stock loaned, making it necessary for those who have borrowed to buy.

It was the latter circumstance which sent Reading last year np to 37t iust before the transfer books closed for election purposes. Whatever the cause? Reading was strong yesterday, advancing to 32i and closing with 32 bid, while nothing else was strong and some stocks were weak. Tho Nurtliern Pacifies made a little show of strength in tho morning, but it was soon dissipated and both the common and preferred closed at a decline from the last prices of the day before. Pennsylvania and Lehigh Navigation were just about steady and very inactive. The odds and ends were, scarcely heard of.

The total sales amounted to 12,559. shares, against 22,111 shares on Friday. Opening. Iliijltest. Lowest.

Common Sense tells you that it is not a sign of intelligence in men or women to get mad when they are told of better and easier ways of doing their work. Common Sense tells her that a Soap that is excellent for the skin of even a little infant cannot possibly hurt clothes washed with it.

Common Sense tells her that clothes will last much longer when they are not rubbed to pieces to get them clean. Common Sense tells her that if she dont scald or boil clothes the saving in fuel will more than pay for the Soap. Common Sense tells her that a smart person will be very glad this hot weather to hear of an easy way of washing clothes. Common Sense tells her that a Soap that is indorsed by prominent physicians and by leading newspapers must have real and wonderful merit. Common Sense tells her that even a person of only ordinary intelligence could not possibly have any trouble in following such easy, sensible directions for washing clothes.

The inter city match of five players has been virtually br.m to a conclusion ami the honors of the battle carried off by a brilliant stroke of play execute! by Mr. Klson. of Philadelphia, For the better nn dtTstaiidins ot tile game we will recapitulate that the players engaged are Dr.

According to the peculiar conditions of he game each pUivcr makes one move and passes the partie on to the next matt, the order of the player being as mentioned above. It will thai be seen, the number of participants being odd. that each player moves on one side and then on the other. Thus Sir. That is what a great many people are doing. They don't know just what is the matter, but they have a combination of pains and aches, and each month they grow worse. The only sure remedy yet found is Brown's Iron Jjitters, and this by rapid and thorough assimilation with the blood purifies and enriches it, and rich, strong blood flowing to every part of the system repairs the wasted tissues, drives out disease and gives health and strength. This is why Brown's Iron Bitters will cure kidney and liver diseases, consumption, rheumatism, neuralgia, dyspepsia, malaria, intermittent fevers, 3S. Paca Bjltimore.
