Hall Lake Street Methodist Church is marking its 55th year ° f ^ol-^nized in 1912 by Rev. The trunk and larger limbs were used for support members and the arbor was thatched with the branches By 1918 the church was able to move into a Irame build- in? at 611 South Lake site of the present church. In 1949, this first building was renovated, and again in I960, with an assembly hall being erected during the later remodeling. , . Rev E H. Hall, pastor since 1959, is the 24th minister to head the congregation. Of his 37 years in the ministry, Reverend Hall has been in Mississippi County 30 years. Reverend Hall was ordained in 1929 and is the son, grandson, and great-grandson of Methodist ministers. He served in Leachville and Dell for 11 years each before being assigned to Blytheville. He is president of the Blytheville Ministerial Alliance and the Kiwanis Club. Ministers who have served as pastor of the church since its founding are the following: Rev. Eli Craig, 1912-1914; Rev. Herman Hays, 19161917; Rev. Ira A. Brumley, 1917-1918; Rev. E. J. Miller, 1918-1920; Rev. J. L. Pruett, 1920-1922; Rev. R. E. Simpson, 1922-1923; Rev. M. F. Johnson, 1923-1924; Rev. W. M. Adcock, 1924-1926; Rev. E. M. Peters, 1926-1928; Rev. F. M. Frayar, 1928-1929; Rev. J. W. Leroy, 19291934; Rev. V. E. Chalfant, 1934-1936; Rev. W. M. Johnson, 1936-1937; Rev. F. M.
