Blythevllle (Ark.) Courier News - Friday; October 14, 19W- ftgt VOTE DEMOCRATIC We urge the Voters of Mississippi County who have for so many years kept this County solidly in the Democratic column to again re-affirm their faith in the Party of the People by supporting the Party and giving their rousing endorsement of the full Democratic Party Ticket on November 8, 1966 in the General Election. The Democratic Party has always been the Party that has given this County efficient and honest government. It is the Party that has been close to the people and has provided not only the County, but the State and Nation with all the major benefits the people have obtained through good government in this century. The Democratic Party is the PARTY OE PROGRESS. The Republican Party cannot claim a single forward step for the people during its periods of leadership in this century. Social Security, FHA farm and home loans, without which most of us would not even have a home we could call our own, FDIC insurance on bank deposits and all other major developments for the people themselves have been made by Democratic Administrations. As a State, Arkansas ranks at the top with sound fiscal policies developed under Democratic Administrations-compared with other States of the Union, particularly with States headed by Republican Administrations: A Rockefeller Administration in New York is in serious difficulties now. Let us keep Arkansas Democratic and a State in its own name. We are all Nominees of the Democratic Party for Re-Election on November 8 and we will appreciate your vote for the entire Democratic ticket - from Johnson for Governor all down the line-all the way! Failii-VOTE DEMOCRATIC Nov. 8th STATE SENATOR J. LEE BEARDEN A.A. "Shug" Banks, County Judge; Win. Berryman, Sheriff & Collector; Frank Whitworth, County Treasurer; Elizabeth Blythe Parker, County Clerk; Geraldine Listen, Circuit Clerk; Herbert Shippen, Assessor; Waller Day, Representative; L.H. Autry, Representative; Billy Nicholson, Representative; W.J. Wunderlich, Democratic Committee Chairman for Mississippi County. Pol. Adv. Paid foe by r. M. lUgmoU
