West PiiMon. Yesterday was the birthday anniversary of Rev. Dr. John Bradshaw, pastor of the Plymouth M. E.

Church, a former resident of this city, and in recognition of the day a large number of the members of his congregation, together with other prominent residents of Plymouth, gathered at the parsonage last evening to commemor rate the event Dr. Bradshaw was in the church conducting the usual midweek prayer meeting at the close of which he repaired to his home and was completely surprised at seeing so great a gathering of friends. Many of the members of his flock and others delivered brief addresses of greeting during the evening he was presented with a neat purse. Following this refreshments were served.
