Randy Jackson of the Chicago Cubs scores what proved to be the winning run in the fourth Inning of yesterday's game with Hip Rotation Starts Your Backswing By Tony Vldctta Pasatlempo Professional A Told to Mai Bowta (Editor's Note: This Is the seventh In a series of golf lessons. Today's topic is the back-swing.) As we have said earlier, you address the ball by placing it slightly back of your left heel. The toes are pointed outward with the weight somewhat on the heels and equally divided between both feet. Bend slightly at the waist and have your hands comfortably close to your body with the knees slightly bent but don't stretch for the ball. Place the clubhead face square to the line of flight.

By turning your hips to the right you have started the back. swing. As your body winds up, the shoulders, arms and hands (plus the club, of course) just naturally follow. Avoid jerking. This should be.a smooth, well coordinated action.

The clubhead starts low along the ground and follows the body. Keep your head steady all through the swing. Near the top of the swing, the wrists have begun to "cock" naturally and the right leg has straightened with the left knee bent inwards toward the right. The left arm should be as straight as possible without a feeling of stiffness. Don't hurry, just relax.

Next: The top of the swing. Jordan Wants To Fight Robinson By Matt Kramer Portland, Ore. W). Tough Don Jordan of Los Angeles defended his welterweight championship convincingly Friday night. He now looks toward middleweight Ray Robinson for his next bout.

Jordan, a punishing body puncher, rammed solid hooks in to the ribs of 19-year-old Denny Mover, and uppercuts to the face as he scored a unanimous 15-round decision over the young Portlander in a nationally televised bout. There were no knockdowns.
