It should be available for sale at the museums store in time for the societys crafts and train show Nov. 21 and 22. It will contain 212 pages and approximately 800 picture postcards.

It has been compiled and edited by Brown, Robert Heilman and Henry Westenberger. Brown retired as assistant director of the State Library for Collection Management Development. Heilman and Westenberger are local historians. The society also has had a reprint published of Society Volumn 16, Number 1, A Touch of Time by Robert E. Noble.

The publication is a biography of Robert Habersham Coleman, great-grandson of the first Robert Coleman, iromaster. It can be purchased at the museum. The Lebanon County Historical Society paid tribute to Historic Schaefferstown Inc. for outstanding and distinguished service in the preservation and perpetuation of the History of Lebanon County at the societys annual dinner meeting this week in the Schaefferstown Fire Co. Historic Schaefferstown was incorporated on March 5, 1965, to collect, preserve, study and disseminate the history and folk culture of the Pennsylvania Dutch.

Carol Ulrich, president of Historic Schaefferstown, accepted the award on behalf of that organization. Jack W. Loose, past president of the Lancaster Historical Society, presented a program on James Buchanan, the 15th president of the United States. Buchanan was appointed the first district attorney of Lebanon County after the county was formed in 1813. He practiced law in the countys first courthouse at 924 Cumberland which is now the home of the Lebanon County Historical Society.
