Gary T. Brown provides the centers with shows through his Child Smile Entertainment. Brown said the shows, which are about 30 minutes long, consist of both classic and original childrens songs.

The centers, he said, provide him with agendas in advance so he can prepare a relevant selection of songs. A typical show will consist of him playing the harmonica and an acoustic guitar and singing. He performs songs such as Louis Pollisars' Three Toed, Triple Eyed, Double Jointed Dinosaur and Jane Taylors Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Brown also performs his original tunes, like his Tooth Song, which emphasizes the importance of brushing, and Question, which helps kids learn to spell. Vicki Lewis, who works at Little People Child Care Center, Palmyra, said that the children look forward to Gary; by Tuesday and Wednesday theyre anticipating his Thursday arrival.

Brown said he enjoys doing the shows. And the children have such a great time. The shows are a great outlet for me. Brown said that he would like to make a recording of his original works. Im putting songs together, but the recording process involves challenging factors, he said.

In other projects, Brown has recorded with the blues band April Skies at Gift Horse Studio in Harrisburg.
