What promises to be the largest gathering of cattlemen ever held in California will take place in San Francisco on December 11 and 12, when the annual convention of the California Cattlemen's Association is held at the Palace Hotel.

In past years the attendance at thf annual meetings has ranged from to 500 but with the establishment of co operative marketing this year, the attendance is' expected to exceed 700. More than 3000 cattlemen are mem bers of the marketing body and in addition to the convention delegates from California, members from Ne Arizona and' Oregon will be in attendance. The election of directors for the coming year together with the outlining of policies to be followed will the principal order of business. Tentative arrangements for the program include banquet to be held or the evening of the 11th. Nation ally known speakers will address the convention on subjects of common interest while special topics will be dis cussed in separate groups of those interested.
