The National Weather Services said two tornadoes crossed and northwestern Pennsylvania Saturday night, touching down in several of the same communities hit on May 31, when 88 people died in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada. Only one serious injury was reported, but the high winds destroyed some buildings, uprooted trees and knocked down power lines, officials said. "The tornado missed me by 500 yards the first time, and I sure didn't expect it to come down the same street again," said George Carl of Atlantic. "It was really a frightening experience." Another resident of Atlantic, where three people died, 40 were injured and 70 buildings were destroyed, echoed Carl's feelings.

"We didn't have time to be scared the first time, but this time we had a little more time to think about it and it was just terrifying," said Barb Pfaff. The weather service said one tornado hit Atlantic and Cochranton in Crawford County, passing into Cherry Tree in Venango County and then to Forest County, the service said. All three towns suffered fatalities in the tornado wave last month. Organizer Joseph M. Scheidler said the "defendants" will include scores of other people his Chicagobased Pro-Life Action League feels have supported legalized abortions. "It's imperative that this trial of abortions, the American Holocaust, be held in this town because the anniversary of the Nuremberg trials is career coming up," Scheidler said. "There was a terrible thing that happened 40 years ago human lives were taken, wantonly, thousands a day, and the same thing is happening in America." Scheidler said the location is pivotal for the mock trial, set for Oct. 4 and 5. "The trial will be held here or it won't be held at all," he said. "It has to be Nuremberg or it loses the symbolism." The proposed event has already met opposition from residents of this village of 800 in Schuylkill County.
