She had been employed as a nurse at various doctors1 offices and hospitals, retiring In 1969. As a member of the New Heights Church of Christ, she was active In the Missionary Circle and the Lamplighters Sunday School class there. She was a former member of the River Park Church of Christ.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and home decorating. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Howard (Judy) Beck of Granger, Mrs. Robert Pete (Janette) Taylor of Connersville, Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Spears of Atlanta, and Mrs.

Wayne (Marilyn) Sieron of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Phon Shorty" Fall of Detroit, three sisters, Hulda Norton of Lansing, Laoma Miller and Mary Richey, both of Franklin, and by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean Ted Matchette, who died on Aug. 10, 1987; three brothers, Doyle, Guy and Mike Fall; and by six sisters, Grace Acker, Anna Hazelby, Rose Trink, Harriet Bradley, Effie Fall and Rosie Fall. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Showalter-Blackwell Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, with her son-in-law, Robert D. Pete" Taylor of the New Heights Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to the New Heights Church of Christ.

Boohnloln Jun 21, 1920 Feb. 13, 1998 MISHAWAKA Aloysius Al" J. Boehnlein, 77, of East Fourth Street, Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, in his residence.

Aloysius was bom in Mishawaka on June 21, 1920, to Marlin and Margaret (Weinkauf) Boehnlein, who have both preceded him in death. Mr. Boehnlein retired from Uniroyal in 1983 after 43 years. On June 21, 1941, in Mishawaka, Aloysius married Margery E. Basham, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Mary Swartz of Mishawaka; three sons, John Boehnlein of Franklin, Michael Boehnlein of Mishawaka and Allen Boehnlein of Granger, nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Irene McGann, Rosemary Boehnlein, Catherine Basham, Loretta Sipe and Elizabeth Boehnlein, all of Mishawaka, Helen Pfaller of Merit Island, and Margaret Pryblo of LaPorte, and by three brothers, James Boehnlein, Carl Boehnlein and Martin Boehnlein, all of Mishawaka. Mr. Boehnlein was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St.

Joseph Catholic Church, and VFW Post 360. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev.

Campbell Dec. 11, 1925 Feb. 13, 1998 SOUTH BEND Donald R. Campbell, 72, of Bristol Avenue, South Bend, died at 8:25 p.m. on Friday, Feb.

13, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was bom on Dec. 11, 1925, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to Monty and Lillie Campbell, who preceded him in death. On April 5, 1952, in Chicago, he married Edna Jane Fisher, who survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Bruce Campbell and his wife Sis of Elmhurst, and Jeff Campbell and his wife Ali of Terre Haute, two grandsons, Jim and Jeffie Campbell, also of Terre Haute; three sisters, Bernice McClelland of Coolville, Ohio, Audra Wise and Edna Smith, both of Vienna, W.Va.; and by two brothers, Clarence Campbell of Parkersburg and Glen Campbell of Berkley Heights, N.J. Mr. Campbell retired in 1991 as sales manager of K-40 Electronics in Elgin, III. He was a charter member of Clay United Methodist Church, South Bend Masonic Lodge 294 and South Bend Scottish Rite. He was also a World War II Navy veteran.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Clay United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where there will be a Masonic service conducted at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Clay United Methodist Church, 17646 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635. Edinburg, Scotland, and Paul O'Dell of Calumet Park, III. Mrs. Dregoi had been a school teacher and had worked as a sales clerk with Marshall Fields in Chicago before retiring. She was a member of the Samuel Felt Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Birch Lake Embroidery Club.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis, Mich. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne E. Tone of Vandalia and members of the Samuel Felt Chapter of the DAR.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Tillie Horka Nov. 9, 1906 Feb. 13, 1998 SOUTH BEND Tillie Horka, 91, of Eastmont Drive, South Bend, died at 7:30 p.m.

on Friday, Feb. 13, in her residence. She was born on Nov. 9, 1906, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. She was married on April 21, 1934, in South Bend, as Tiilie Szalewski to Roman Horka, who preceded her in death on Oct.

27, 1993. She is survived by three nieces, Juanita Beach and Virginia Eufemi, both of South Bend, and Annette Soderstrom of Danville, three great-nieces, Christine Hadrick and Janette Hooten, both of South Bend, and Laurel Soderstrom of Danville; three great-nephews, Edmund Beach of Mishawaka, Philip Beach of South Bend and Ronald Soderstrom of Danville; and by two great-great-nephews, Brennan Beach and Adam Hadrick, both of South Bend. Koehler, 85, of Kline Street, Mishawaka, passed away suddenly at 3:15 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, in St. Joseph Community Hospital. Mrs.

Koehler was bom in Wyatt, on June 21, 1912, and lived in Mishawaka since 1927. On Aug. 15, 1931, as Evelyn Bendit, she married Harold E. Koehler, who preceded her In death on July 18, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard, who died in 1974.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Holbert of Tempe, and Linda Koehler of Stockton, a son, Gary Koehler of Buchanan, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Lannoo of Mishawaka; and by three brothers, Cleo Bendit of Mishawaka, Otho Bendit of South Bend, and Robert Bendit of Templeton, Calif. Mrs. Koehler was a member of St. Andrews United Church of Christ, where she was active in various church activities including the Ladies Day Guild, the choir and the Advocacy Center. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

13, 1998 SOUTH BEND Lucille M. Sue" McCracken, 78, of Buckskin Lane, South Bend, died on Friday, Feb. 13, in her home. Mrs. McCracken was bom on July 21, 1919, in Cheasing, and had lived in South Bend for more than 40 years.

On April 28, 1973, she married Harry McCracken, who survives. Mr. and Mrs. McCracken would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. She is also survived by her children, Leroy LaBrake of Phoenix, Mary Snyder of Phoenix, Richard LaBrake of South Bend, Harry McCracken, of Elmhurst, Robert McCracken of Elk Grove Village, Diane Waldrop of Azle, Texas, Kenneth McCracken of Phoenix, James McCracken of Azle and Richard McCracken of Azle; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Kate Bonjour of Cheasing and Darlene Kizer of Mishawaka, and by a brother, Robert Maike of South Bend.

Mrs. McCracken was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 50 Auxiliary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with Rev. Camillo Tirabassi ating.

Joseph County. Mary B. Perry April 24, 1911 Jan. 30, 1998 SOUTH BEND Mary B. Perry, 86, formerly of South Bend, died on Friday, Jan.

30, 1998, In Tampa, Fla. She was bom on April 24, 1911, in Chicago, III. On April 18, 1936, she married Peter M. Perry in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1981.

She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sarah Casimer After 25 years residency in this area, Mr. and Mrs. Perry retired to Florida. Mrs. Perry is survived by three children, Patricia (Henry) Casimer of Mishawaka, Carlotta Rohrbach of Bradenton, and Frank (Faith) Perry of Tampa; six grandchildren, Lori Rohrbach, Christopher Casimer, Gregory Casimer, Elizabeth C.

Andrews, Peter Perry and Dawn Perry; and by two great-grandchildren, Kevin and Grace Casimer. Mrs. Perry was a graduate of Mundelein College and a member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was a volunteer for numerous charity organizations through the years. She had a daily five-minute radio broadcast during the 1930s.

13, In St. Josephs Medical Center. Mr. Mazura was bom on May 11, 1920, in Blanford, Ind. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he moved to South Bend in 1982 and retired from the Bendix Corporation after 35 years of service.

On March 10, 1950, he married Virginia Lee, who preceded him in death on Nov. 23, 1986. Mr. Mazura was also preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Katherine Mazura; eight brothers, Tommy, John, George, Andy, Chuck, David and Billy; and by his two sisters, Katey Darnell and Agnes Yangas. He is survived by two daughters, Katherine Robledo of Mishawaka, and Sandy Miller of Decatur, Mich; a son, Johnny Lee, of Slidell, grandchildren, Gina Arroyo of South Bend, Michelle McQueary and Erin Prince of Mishawaka, Shane Powell of Michigan City, and Johnny Lee, III, Jas Lee and Josette Lee of Slidell; his great-granddaughter, Madison Prince; and by a sister, Helen Lobovich of Clinton, Ind.

5, 1903, in Vandalia, to Irving and Nellie (Kirk) ODell. She married Edward J. Dregoi, who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1959. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Leona O'Dell of Chicago; three nieces, Marita Lichti of Oakland, Jean Clothier of Upland, and Esther Barker oft Glendale, and by three nephews, Wayne and wife, Ruth O'Dell of Morris Plains, N.J., Glenn and wife, Nan ODell of I POp songwriter Alex Kramer dies N.

Y. Times News Service Alex Kramer, a writer of popular songs whose best-known compositions included Candy, Far Away Places and It All Comes Back to Me Now," died on Tuesday in Fair-field, Conn. He was 94. Those hits, and most of his 125 other songs, were written with his wife, Joan Whitney who died in 1990.
