MM IThe success of the Los Gatos Coffee Club has been phenomenal; Organized but a year ago, it has already outgrown its present quarters, and really needs larger rooms more reading room space, more rest room space, more dining room space, more kitchen space. The annual meeting held Thursday evening, shows there is no lack of in the enterprise or enthusiasm for its success. The reports show that the club has nearly $300 worth of furniture and fixtures, and almost $300 in the bank, besides paying all expenses. It is sincerely hoped bhat the club will be able to get larger and more convenient quarters within the coming year.

Los Gatos Mail. Acorn Brand THEY WANT A CHANGE. Ed. -That is what many voters are saying just now. The City Council, City Clerk and Mayor have held their places long enough.

We want change. They can give no good business reason for desiring a change. Tiiiey must, and most of them do, acknowledge -that our city is prospering and growing beyond all expectations. Our City Council, iMiyor and Clerk are harmonious and all pulling together for the best interests of our beautiful city. What do you want a change for, voters? Our public schools are conducted, by a corps of good, competent teachers -and were never more harmonious and prosperous than now.

The school bonds are nearly all paid, and 'the future looks tri'ght, both for the schools and for tihe entire city and surrounding country. What do you want a change for? You conld not improve on our present condition, and future prospects. I care not whom you elect. Would you elect an inharmonious, quarreling lot of officers who would disagree among themselves as to what should) be done, with the result -that nothing would or could be done for our prosperity for the next two years? Do you want to take all these chances when we have a sure thing by electing every one of tihe existing city officers, who have served us so faithfully in the past? We are now on the top of the wave of prosperity and smoothly gliding along with it. Would you, by your votes, help to dash it against the rocka of fanaticism and bigotry? Would you swap horses in the middle of a Tiver? I emphatically, No! They have carried' us safely, and we will stay with them until we reach dry and solid land on the other side, il have nothing to say against any of the opposing candidates.

I am acquainted with all of them, except one. They 'are all friendly to me, and I know I am a friend to them. They are all, so far as I know, good, honest men, but I do not want any of hem as city officers at present, Hbe-auso if or reasons above gjven, I value the city's prosperity more than I do their personal aggrandizement. (We want no change. JOHN MORROW.
