On Aug. 12, 1931, in Dowagiac, she married Glenn B. Grady, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carol Barbee and Mrs.

Lenora Webster, both of Kalamazoo, and Mary McFarland of Cassopolis; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sercy Mary) Morris of Dowagiac; and three brothers, Moses Easley Jr. of Dowagiac, John Easley of Toledo, Ohio, and Robert Easley of (Mean, N.Y. Two sons, Glen Jr. and George, preceded her in death.

She was active in the March of Dimes and was a charter member of the First Church of God. Charles A. Beach NKW BUFFALO Services for Charles A. Beach, 81, of Rt. 2, who died at 1:05 a.m.

On March 19, 1917, in Michigan City, he married Martha S. Freyer, who died in 1970. He is survived by three sons, Milton and James, boih of New Buffalo, and Jack of Chesterton. eight grandchildren; and 14 HANEY FIRE Firemen struggle with a burning article while extinguishing a fire about 4 p.m. Saturday in a house at 118 Haney.

No one was hurt, and damage was estimated at $3,000. The blaze was blamed on children playing with matches. The fire apparently started in the bedroom of the home, and a bed caught on fire. Firemen fought the fire for a half hour before bringing it under control. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, a son, James A. of North Lauderdale, two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Thomas and Nancy Bucholtz, both of Fort Lauderdale; two grandchildren; a brother, Ernest of Lauderdale Lakes; and a sister, Mrs. Lorraine Pietrzak of South Bend. He was a member of American Legion Post 357 in South Bend and the Polkalark Band.

PAEGE Services for Mrs. Anna A. (Pegowski) Paege, 94, of 2721 Hartzer, who died Saturday, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

Belue, 72, of 3640 W. Dunes who died at 12:03 p.m. Friday in St. Anthony Hospital, will be ai2p.m. Monday at the Carlisle Funeral Home.

He was born on May 1, 1909, in Iuka, and had lived in Michigan City for the past 31 years. He was a retired employee of Clark Kquipment Company. On Aug. 2, 1943, in Iuka, he married Alice Bonds, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs.

Loren (Judy) Caddo of Michigan City; three sons, Gary of Winamac, Terry of La-Porte and Leon of Michigan City; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Ida Shewbert of Winterhaven, Pauline Waddle of Memphis, Irene George of Boonville, and Maxine Campbell of Stutgart, and seven Tala-mage of Corinth, John of Highland, Fred of Memphis. Greenawalt, 81, of 740 12B Road, died al 10:40 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Rome, Plymouth. He was born on Sept. 6, 1900, in Nappanee, and was a lifelong area resident. On April 15, 1922.

he married Opal Belle Secnst. who survives. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Delta Greenawalt of Bourbon; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister. Miss Klsie Greenawalt of Bremen; and a brother, Donald of Nappanee. A son, Louis, precede him in death.

On Dec. 27, 1941, in Bryan. Ohio, he married Krma Slireiner, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. David (Peggy) Harper and Mrs.

Lilly Benton, both of North Berwick, Scotland. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. He was a golf pro at the Christiana Country Club for four years and retired in 1966 from Miles Laboratories. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs, Jack (Carol) Nielsen of Botendorf, Ibwa; a stepson, Michael Thornburgh of Dumont, Iowa; seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Jacobs of Cincinnati. Krause William C. Krause, 55, of 222 S. 33rd, was pronounced dead on arriv-. al at 1:05 p.m. Saturday at South Bend Osteopathic Hospital after a sudden illness.

He was infcbargs of mechanical maintenance at Park Jefferson Apartments. He was born Nov. 16, 1925, in South Bend and lived here all his life. During World War II, he served as a staff sergeant for the U.S. Army.

On Feb. 7, 1976, in South Bend, he. married Tina M. Maeyens, who survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Janice Dale of New Carlisle; one son, Kenneth Krause; two stepsons, Albert Maeyens of San Antonio, and Pete Maeyens, at home; and seven grandchildren.

of 1143 Oak Park Court, allegedly was stabbed at her home about 5 p.m. Saturday after arguing with her ex-husband over their separation, according to police. Mrs. Berry was treated by paramedics al the scene and taken to SL Joseph's Medical Center where she was later moved to the intensive care unit, a hospital spokesperson said. Police, however, did not issue an arrest warrant Saturday for John L.

Berry Jr, 25. of the same address, who is a suspect the stabbing. Berry fled from the home after the stabbing occurred, police said. According to a police report, the victim suffered a slab wound in her back. Police armed at the scene and found her sitting on the floor tiT the residence.
