Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 4930 Newanga Santa Rosa. Private inurnment will be in Santa Rosa Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Alisal High School Scholarship Fund, 777 Williams Road. Salinas 93901. Bolie Solomon, hospital attendant Bolie Solomon of Seaside died Thursday unexpectedly at Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula. He was 72. A native of Texas, Mr.

Solomon lived in Monterey County for 30 years. He was a hospital attendant at Silas B. Hays Army Hospital and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Solomon is survived by his wife, Theo Solomon of Seaside; five daughters, Mary Williams of Texas, Velma Ranson of Seaside, Diane Jones and Eunice Solomon, both of Tulare, and Flora Thomas of Georgia; four sons, George Solomon of Texas, Lewis Solomon and Floyd Solomon, both of South Carolina, and Darnell Solomon of Seaside; two brothers, Fred Solomon of Seaside, Eligh Solomon of Texas; four sisters, Ruthie Porter and Gertrude Hall, both of Seaside, Bennie Smith and Lissie Wingo, both of Texas; and many grandchildren Visitation will be held from noon to 04 p.m.

today and from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Monterey Peninsula Mortuary Chapel at Mission Memorial Park. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church, Seaside. Burial will follow at Mission Memorial Park.

Doreen Martinez, Soledad infant Doreen Martinez, the 4-day-old infant daughter of Felix and Mary Alice Martinez of Soledad, died Friday at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto. In addition to her parents, the SALINAS infant is survived by three brothers, Felix Martinez Jonathan Martinez and Adrian Martinez, all of Soledad; one sister, Lisa Marie Martinez of Soledad; her maternal grandparents, Elmer Delgado and Elvira Delgado of Soledad; her paternal grandmother, Felicitas Martinez of Soledad; her paternal grandfather, Frank Martinez of Soledad, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be private. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Soledad Cemetery.

Whitehurst Terry Mortuary Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. William Owen, native of England William Owen of Prunedale died Monday at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was 71. A native of England, Mr. Owen lived in Monterey County for 15 years and was a resident of Santa Cruz from 1948 to 1971.

Before his retirement, he was an administrator at Piazza Paving Co. He was a member of Santa Cruz Yacht Club and Elkhorn Yacht Club in Moss Landing. Mr. Owen is survived by his wife, Roberta Owen of Prunedale; two daughters, Lesley Gonzalez of Salinas and Christine Mullin of Reno, two brothers, Bruce Owen and Kenneth Owen, both of England; and five grandchildren. A wake will be held at 1 p.m.

Sunday at the family residence, 7750 Roma Place, Prunedale. Ashes will be scattered at sea. Arrangements were under the direction of the California Cremation Society. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Alvin V.

Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Barbara Lamb of Salinas; two sons, James Lamb of Redding and Danny Lamb of Santa Nella; three stepsons, Carl L. Boyer and Richard Boyer, both of Salinas, and Ed Baker Jr.

of Chicago; four stepdaughters, Denise Smith and Delores Cates, both of Salinas, Marie Wright of Red Bluff, and Louise Sharp of Redding; three half sisters, Mary Johnson of Arkansas, Edna Walker of Indiana, and Carla Kase of Colorado; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Healey Mortuary. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Prunedale, 17716 Pesante Road.

Blumenthal of St. Paul, died Nov. 5 following a long illness. He was 73. A native of St.

Blumenthal was a jeweler who lived in Salinas many years. He managed Goodfriends on BLUMENTHAL South Main Street and opened his own store on Midtown Lane in 1961. After retiring, he moved to Redwood City. He served in the Navy during World War II. Mr.

Blumenthal is survived by his wife, Tobie Blumenthal of St. Paul; two sons, Steve Blumenthal of Salinas and Gene Blumenthal of San Carlos; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were Friday in Minnesota. Funeral arrangements were by Hodross and Sons of St. Paul.

Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Esther M. Palmerin, restaurant owner Esther M. Palmerin of Greenfield died unexpectedly Friday at George L. Mee Memorial Hospital in King City.

She was 42. A native of Atotonilco, Jalisco, Mexico, Mrs. Palmerin lived in Monterey County for eight years. She was co-owner of Ponchito's Restaurant in Greenfield. She was a member of Holy Trinity parish.

Mrs. Palmerin is survived by her husband, Ascencion Palmerin of Greenfield; two sons, Francisco and Eduardo Palmerin of Greenfield; two brothers, Roberto Rodrigues of Hemet and Juan Rodrigues of Mexico; four sisters including Alicia Rodrigues of Pomona; her parents, Francisco Rodrigues and Esperanza Ramirez of Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and 9 a.m.

Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, Greenfield. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Greenfield. Martha Pollock, retired shed worker Martha Pollock of Salinas died Saturday in Magalia after a lengthy illness. She was 79. A native of Joplin, Mrs.

Pollock lived in Salinas for 48 years. She was a retired shed worker formerly with Spiegel Farms. Mrs. Pollock is survived by her husband, Holly Dale Pollock of Salinas; two daughters, Mildred Schmidt of San Jose, and Gertrude Huss of Magalia; two sisters, Katheryn Monigold of Salinas and Opal Thurlow of Jay, one brother, Louis Miller of Oregon; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Healey Mortuary.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary chapel. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Howard A. Forrest, former Salinas teacher Howard Alton Forrest of Santa Rosa died at home Saturday following a short illness.

He was 79. A native of Mora, Mr. Forrest lived in Salinas for a number of years and was a teacher and counselor at Salinas and Alisal high schools. He was an. active member of St.

Ansgar Lutheran Church. Mr. Forrest is survived by his ANGELO CIMINO Lived in Salinas, CA for 12 years, died Sunday morning his residence in El Cerrito, CA. Attended local schools, member of Hartnell College Little Theatre Thespian Group. Member of First Theatre of California, Monterey, CA, San Francisco Repertory Theatre, and was a radio personality on radio stations in Sacramento, Stockton, and San Francisco.

Was also a free lance vocal artist for radio and television commercials. Owned and operated New Talent Actors Placement Service.
