Both the securities commissioner and the creditors who filed the District Court petition said they believe present or former officers. of the corporation have converted corporate assets to their own use.

The sentencing of a man Wednesday to a year in prison on a theft charge yas among developments in Superior Court. Gary A. Moore, 18, of 634 Monroe Circle, received the sentence after pleading guilty April 2 to a charge of theft by deception through the alleged passing of three forged checks in August for $660 at Teachers Credit Union, 823 E. Beamer suspended a sentence of one to five years in prison. Carter pleaded guilty March 24 to a charge of entering to commit a felony. The charge stemmed from a break-in Nov. 25 at the Bruce A. Burner residence, 603 E.

Dayton. David C. Dyas, 21, of 4036 Fellows, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of theft of property valued at less than $100. He originally was charged with the theft Dec. 27 of a video tape player, valued at about $600, from Metro Lin-coln-Mercury Sales, 120 W.

McKinley, Mishawaka, Judge Norman Kopec referred Dyas to the Adult Probation Department for a presentence investigation. Court records indicate Dyas was released from custody in March on $100 cash bond. Mary C. Weissert, 21, of 1832 Campeau, was released Tuesday from the county jail on $100 cash bond on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was charged Monday with possession of 933.4 grams of marijuana.
