Babbitt, of Flagstaff were married Janurary 7, at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Gallup, N.M. Both are natives of Flagstaff.

The new Mrs. Babbitt, a sophomore at Arizona State University. Tempe, is daugher of Mr. and Mrs. James M.

Wilson of Sedona. The bridegroom, a student at Arizona State College, Flagstaff, is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Babbitt of Flagstaff.

The bride, a graduate of the Sedona School and Flagstaff High School, will transfer to ASC at mid-term. The couple will live in Flagstaff and continue their studies at Arizona State College. Both young people are members of two Arizona pioneer families. The Babbitt family came to Flagstaff in 1386, and the new Mrs. Babbitt is a granddaughter of the late C.

B. Wilson widely known and prominent Arizona attorney. DEAR ABBY: Recently my best girl friend broke up with Ron, the kid she had been going steady with for three months. She gave him his pin back and now shes wearing another boys. Another girl told me that Ron likes me, and I fell real good about it because 1 like Ron, too.

My best girl friend and I were talking, and she said she heard something about Ron liking me, and then she said, "But HANDS OFF.until I am sure I don't want him any more. I didn't say anything but Abby. do you think she is being fair? She gave Ron his pin back and took somebody clse's. Shouldn't I have the right to like Ron and try to make him like me? FAIR LADY DEAR FAIR: You dont need your girl friends permission to Mike Ron. As I see it, its open season, so happy hunting.

But if you bag him, be prepared to lose a girl friend. Thats usually the way those things work out. DEAR ABBY: Last Christmas I received a Christmas card from a friend. On it was printed the follow inj: -THIS CHRISTMAS WISH REPRESENTS A GIFT TO THE PRESBYTERIAN INTERCOMMUNITY HOSPITAL IN WHITTIER. CALIFORNIA." It gave me the feeling that they sent me a mi they could claim me as a tax deducts n.

I. too. make donations to worthy causes. Lot 1 also send Christmas gifts. And 1 certainly don't ue my Christmas cards to tell my friends about ihe charities I support.

1 think this is in the worst possible taste. Please comment. FROM WHITTIER HEAR FROM: I think one of the more civilized practices of recent years is donating to charily instead of giving extravagant gifts to people who already have more than they need. Km, wing that some less fortunate person in a war-torn country had received a CARE package in my name, for example, would be gift enough lor me. LIBRARY REVIEW Miss Jenny Lee Burkhart and her fiance, Greye Dunning of Hinsdale, Illinois.

(SUN Photo by Fronske) Miss Burkhart Greye Dunning Troth Is Told DEAR ABBY: We professional photographers thank you for publishing the sad tale of a bride who did not have one picture of her wedding because she relied on a friend, who was an amateur photographer, to lake the pictures, and something went wrong with his film. We have heard that story many times. Brides will bring in snapshots that are practically worthless, and beg us to do something with them. By the time we have finished trying to make out of nothing, they have spent more money than if they had hired us in the first place. SCHENECTADY PRO DORTHEA CORNFORTH DEAR ABBY: A man who works with my husband comes to our home occasionally, lie has never brought his wife, and the first few times he spoke of her, lie referred to her as "MY OLD LADY." At first I thought he meant his elderly ther.

so I asked him if he meant his mother, and lie said. "No, MY OLD LADY is the woman I 'm married to!" Abby. don't you think this is terribly dis-t cspec tful? These people are not old. They are their middle forties. Wouldn't ynu think a wife who reared nine children for a man deserves to be referred to as his OFFENDED DEAR OFFENDED: I would but some husbands get brave when they're away from home, ill bet he doesn't call her THE OLD LADY to her fare.

And you don't know what SHE calls him behind his back, either. Troubled? Write to ABBY, Box 69700, Los Angeles, Calif. For a personal reply, enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. PENELOPE HATCH Miss Hatch B.R. Jackson Engaged WINSLOW (Special) Mr.
