Lindsay, Market Square, when a few citizens met and talked over the project. A temporary organization was affected by the election of Thomas I. Leiper chairman, and S. Greenwood secretary. The functions of a board of trade were discussed in their various bearings and it was decided to hold another meeting on Tuesday evening next for the purpose of making further arrangements.

It has been suggested that this would le a good time to get Congressman Everhart to interest himself in a public building for Chester. This city did so much for the independent candidate that it is thought he will bo filled with grati- itude and want to recipiocate by having the post office bill put right through. A delegation will not go down this week to see about the building, as the members of the last committee have too much on their minds.

But the public building project is not dead by any means. Not at all. A meeting will be held at S. Greenwood's office on Monday next for the purpose of taking fuither action in the matter. It is desired that every member of the committee attend.
