The of his estate, embracing portfolio of stocks and boule bonds and three residences, is in trusts for his six children. His executors, Edward I. Farley and George B. "The trust owns more than two-thirds of the stock of Field Enterprises which is comprised of the Chicago Daily News, the Chicago Sun-Times, Field Enterprises Educational Corp. (publishers of World Book Encyclopedia, Childcraft and related educational publications), Field Communications and Manistique Pulp and Paper Co. "Mr. Field was the sole beneficiary of the trust during his lifetime. On his death his two sons, Marshall Field and Frederick Woodruff Field, became the sole beneficiaries.

Trust Will Continue "The trust set up by Mr. Field's father, Marshall Field III, continues until the younger of Mr. Field's two sons, now 13, reaches the age of 25. "The older son, Marshall Field now 24 years old, has already become a member of the Field Enterprises board and the boards of its principal ies. "Presently associated with the New York Herald-Tribune, Marshall Field Jr.

"The late Mr. Field's daughters are provided for in family trusts set up by him and his father.
