Teachers, early Jn the school year, should instruct pupils, how to walk on the road to avoid accidents. If the teachers, by their teaching, save one child from injury or death, the time has been well spent. Children should not be scattered all over the road at or near the top of hills. Cars coming over the hill are apt to strike the children, if the children have not been taught their proper place on the high way.

During the past week, while, visiting a school in Plato Twp. during the noon hour, the teacher had all the pupils get their lunch boxes and enter the room in orderly fashion. When al! were seated, the pupils and teacher sang a short song of Grace. The teacher and pupils then opened their lunch, boxes and ate a happy meal to-gether When the meal-was finished, the desk were cleared and lunch boxes put a way, then the teacher went out to di rect the noon day play activities her pupils. The school children and teachers who recognize the Almightj at the noon hour, are apt to have pleasant noon hour to-gether and gooi lessons in.
