THE SIOUX CENTER NEWS Weddings VAN WYHE--HILL Ireton--A lovely wedding was solemnized at the "Wedding' 3201 W. Pico, Los Angeles, LISTEN TO THE KACTUS KIDS Monday thru Saturday 7:15 a.m. Jan. 3, 1917, at 7:30 P.M. for Miss Mildred Van Wyhe, daughter ol Dick Van Wyhe of Ire ton and Ployd B.

Hill, son of Mrs. Violet Hill of Burbank, tha Rev. Julius Du Bose officiated. Traditional wedding music played at a pipe organ included two solos by a soprano singer, "I Love You Truly" and "Beautiful Dreamer" were sung. The bride chose for her weeding an aqua blue street length dress with, black accessories and a rose corsage.

She was attended by tfte groom's aunt, Doris Strap Patterson who wore a royal 'blue street length dress vnih a rose corsage. The bridegroom's attendant was the bride's brother Wendell Van Wyhe. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the groom's mother's home with immediate family and f'iends present. The groom, who. appeared in a dark blue suit, w'as attended by Harold De Wit, a friend.

Tha bride looked charming in a beautiful dress made out at a silk Japanese parachute, which the groom brought along from Japan. She wore a finger tip veil, and a strand of pearls, the latter a gitt from the groom. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses. The groom wore a brown suit and a ijoutonniere of white carnations. Both of the mothers wore black dresses and a corsage of chrysanthe mums.
