position OR GOVERNOR TEXAS (Special to the Eagle) COLLEGE STATION July 21 The Agricultural Experiment Station of the A and iQollege of Texas announces the Second Annual Round up to be held at the Ranch Experiment Station located in Sutton and Edwards counties and approxi mately 26 miles from Sonora'on the Sonora Kock Springs ntgn way on August 17 and 18 The purpose of this meeting is to bring together the ranchmen and citizens interested in the Sheep and Angora goat and cat tle industries Leads States 1s A brief concise report of each project carried out at the Ranch Experiment Station will he made giving the latest results in each case so that ranchmen may have the benefit of the most recent knowledge in these several lines Texas leads all other states in the Union in the production of wool and as Well in the produc tion of mohair The Ranch Sta tion is located in the heart of the wool producing region of Texas seven counties surrounding the Sonora7 Station 'producing one fourth' of all tthe Angora goats produced in the United States Studies ia Detail lianch Station is studying animal diseases particularly the diseases of sheep and goats including Hie so called ficiency 'require a full understanding if the grower expects to avoid losses from this source Studies are being made of insects and parasites af fecting the sheep and goat indus try Other detailed?
