distributor in Holland; center: upper right: H. S. Welch, manager the largest Studebaker-Erskine tributors on the continent, and the local official who accepted the order was H. S. Welch, manager of exports sales.

This unusual call by long distance marked Mr. Manson's observance of the anniversary of his visit to South Bend a year ago when he was a visitor at the local plant for a week. Arrangements for a conversation with the South Bend motor corporation were completed Thursday afternoon through the New York office. Connections were made over the recently completed transoceanic line between The Hague and New York city by way of New York and Detroit at 9:09 o'clock central standard time this morning, though it happened to be 3:09 o'clock in the afternoon in The His firm, the Internationale Autoof exports sales in Studebaker cor- Hague. No mention was made of the weather in the Netherlands.

"The new President Eight and the New Erskine six have met with unusual success in Holland," said Mr. Manson for an opening sentence. "There is an unprecedented demand for Studebaker-Erskine cars. Therefore send me by the earliest possible shipment- and he gave his order for 74 local motor products. When three minutes of conversation had been exchanged between the Studebaker dealer in The Hague and the Studebaker official in South Bend.

the isolaterd automobile distributor in Holland hung up then paid $81.75 for the call. It is rumored the Studebaker official on this end of the wire was satisfied with the results of the call. WE HAVE A LARGE STOCK of cars to select from. Prices ranging from $25 to $600. SPECIALS.
