Max Schantzer, Coatesville, was announced yesterday. The betrothal was revealed at dinner in the Schantzer home. Mr. Prince, a graduate of Pottstown High school, is employed by the Doehler Die Casting company. Miss Schantzer is a student at Pennsylvania State college.

COMlKIOIll In an effort to conserve fuel and electricity during the present war program, Cedarville and Temple Methodist churches yesterday voted 106-14, to discontinue night services. According to the Rev. C. G. Thompson, pastor of both congregations, the new schedule will provide for Sunday school at 9:30 and service at 10:45 Sunday in Cedarville church, while at Temple service will begin at 9:30 a.

and Sunday school at 10:45 This schedule will alternate each week. Under the old plan the two churches alternated by having a morning service at one while a night service was conducted in the other one. It was announced junior choir would rehearse Friday at 4 p. m. in Cedarville church.
