Will Filed for Probate. The will of the late Mrs. Jana Hughes was filed for probate in the Superior Court today by Attorney N. A. Hawkins.

Refreshments were served about 11 o'clock, after whioh all dispersed TO their several homes declaring that they had a very nice hoping to another party soon. Wm. Cunningham, Ed Beacham, Joe Walker, Bert Eddy, Roberts, John Darby and Wm. Phillips, seven Yolo county boys, arrived home from Camp Clarke, Nevada, on the noon train today on a thirty-day furlough. Ed Dunpliy, Sam Leech and several others are on their way home and will reach Woodland this evening.

At the end of the i lough boye ate expected to report at Camp Clarke, when they will prooably be mustered out of the service. They a rumor at Sacramento, however, that it may be possible that the boys will be called back to camp before their furlough expires, and ordered to duty elsewhere, possibly at Manila. It was announced that the railroad company bad granted half rates for the boys who desired to spend their furlough at home, but there appears to have been some misunderstanding. Those who arrived today had to pay fui! fare, but they expect to lay the matter before their superior officers, and it is quite likely that they will bate. Officer Gwinn also arrested on Monday evening a man named George Hastings. Judge Lampton sent him tne county jail for sixty days morning. He can consider himself fortunate that he was not punished more severely. Hastings was caught in the act of going through the pockete of man in Blarcn's saloon and James Feeney, the barkeeper, threw Hastings out in the street. He could have been prosecuted for robbery.

WANTS HIS JEWELRY. Suit Against Grace Allison in the Superior Court. John L. Duprey, of Wintera, nought aid from the courts on Monday to regain possession of a diamond ring and diamond frog pin of which he claims to have been defrauded by Matrimonial Agent W. Bain and a woman called Grace Allieon.

The plain. titt was introduced to the Allison woman by Bain and was told that she was possessed of valuable property and desired to become his (Duprey's) wife. Dnprey, in the course of a short courtship, parted i the ring and pin only to discover the end that he was the vic- of an adventuress. He caused the woman's arrest and now, in a civil suit, seeks to recover his property, which he alleges is now ou deposit i the California Safe Deposit arid Trustee Company.
