DEANS, Attorneys for Petitioner. (Oct. 10 to 20, 1938) Gaels Down Loyola 7-0 LOS ANGELES, (U.R) The Gaels of St. Mary's went home to Moraga today with their third victory In three years over the upcoming Loyola Lions of Los Angeles. It was a hard-fought 7-0 win made possible by Ihe dead-shot pausing of Halfback Ed Heffernan, a sophomore from Bakorsfleltl.

After three quarters of a tight battle between two powerful lines, Heffernan brought the spectators in the Coliseum to their feet yesterday with two heaves that put the ball on the Loyola two-yard line, soon after Ihe final period opened. Full-hack Herb Smith plunged it over for Ihe game's only touchdown. Heffprnan stole the bnckfield show from the much ballyhooed Mike Klolovlch. Loyola effectively stopped Mike while he was in the game, and he was out more than a period after being knocked dizzy. Coach Slip Madlgan said he had not suffered injury.
