Conlon, 20 Main street, Inkenman, one of Jenkins Township's most widely known and highly respected men, died at o'clock Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital, WUkee Barre, where he had been a patient for four weeks. He had been employed as a stationary engineer at No. 0 Colliery, Penneyevanla Coal over a long period of years and up to the time of his retirement, several years ago. He also was a former tax collector of Jenkins) Township and was active In every movement for the advancement of his home community. Mr.

Conlon had made his home It) Inkerman since he wan six months oM. H9a parents, the late Patrick and Mary Conlon. were among the pioneer settlers In that village. Mr. Conton was a member of St.

Mrs. Peter Gallagher Died In Old Forge Following' an illness, Mrs. Margaret M. Gallagher, aged S2 years, succumbed yesterday morning In the family home, 161 Milwaukee avenue. Old Forge.

She was the wife of Peter F. Gallagher. A native of Old Forge, Mrs. Gallagher was a daughter of Matthew M. and Frances Dale Beam.
