He takes strong ground in favor of the protection of every citizen in the exercise of his political rights, stating that each elector should be free to vote as he thinks proper, and have his vote counted. He advocates the support of the common schools of the country by the Nation as well as by the State, but pronounces against appropriations by either Low Prices. CUSHING DRUGGISTS. At B. Culver, Chief. Williams was a first rate fellow but they were just beginning to realize that he was (in the opinion of these democrats) a much better man than he had ever been given credit for. One of these republicans, knowing that ex-Mayor George was a great friend of William Williams, stated the case to him as he had heard it and suggested that the quickest way squelch the roorback was for Mr. George to write to Mr.

Williams which he did. Here is his letter South BeSd, July8j 1880. rt. W. WUtiamt, Wnrw.

Hancock and En lish fail to inspire enthusiasm, and owing to the greenback antecedents of Landers, he tails to draw the old mossbacks to him.
