Lillian was born in the Meadow Grove District in 1917. She married Herbert Bitter and for 30 years they farmed together, side by side. They moved to Leask and she enjoyed gardening and entertaining friends by playing cards. Lillian will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her daughters, Jeanette (Ray) Clark of Leask, SK and Lorraine (Lorne) Benson of Canwood, SK; grandchildren, Leyton (Teresa) Clark and Leah and Rhett Benson; great grandson, Jaxson; sister, Irene Palidwar; sister-In-law, Ottelia Bitter; brotherin-law, Wilbur Button. She was predeceased by, Adam her and husband, Julianna Herbert Schmalz; in 1990; sisters, parents, Gertrude Button and Martha Molhman; brothers, Rudolph Schmalz and George Schmalz; brothers-in-law, Leo Fisher, Harry Palidwar and Richard Molhman; nephew, George Schmalz.

ROBINSON The passing of Joyce Robinson, age 68 years of Saskatoon, SK, occurred peacefully at St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. It is with profound sadness that the family of Constable Brock Warren Myrol, a man of honor, dignity and respect, made the ultimate sacrifice and lost his life in the line of duty at Mayerthorpe, Alberta on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the age of 29 years. Brock was born on May 21, 1975 at Outlook, Saskatchewan.

The family moved to Red Deer when Brock was eight years old. Brock was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed exploring, hiking and traveling. He was accomplished in Martial Arts and earned a in Shoot Wrestling, Brock was a very bright, eager and intense man who had the highest dedication, loyalty and commitment to every task life dealt. Whether it was through his work, his family, or his friends, Brock had the utmost regard problem that needed to be solved; listening to a friend in need, or helping out in the community. In August of 2004, Brock fulfilled his lifelong dream and joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

He graduated from the Training Academy on February 7, 2005 and had the distinction of presenting the Valedictorian Speech to his graduating class. To us, his family, Brock was and always will be "Our His legacy will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of his loving family, fellow officers and trusted and devoted friends. Brock leaves to mourn his loss, his loving parents, Keith and Colleen Patricia 'Trish': his sister, Kalhanie (Robert) Stillings and their children, Blake, Rachel and Lauren and his Angel Steeves. Brock will also be sadly missed by his grandmothers, Frances Myrol and Iris Anholt, both of Outlook, Saskatchewan, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brock was predeceased by his grandfathers, Ben Myrol and Hartwell Anholt.

A Public Funeral Service will be held at the CrossRoads Church, 32nd Street and Highway 2, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverend Bill Foged officiating. "Downtown Red Deer" Deaths 1000 MILDRED ADELINE RUTLEDGE It is with deep sadness and sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our much beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Sunday, March 6th, 2005 at St. Paul's Hospital with her grandson David by her side. Mom was born November 22nd, 1918 on the family farm near Delisle, Saskatchewan. She attended Saskatoon Normal School from 1939 to 1940 and taught at Laurel and Avondale prior to her marriage to James Rutledge in 1942. The family moved to Saskatoon in 1948.

Mom resumed teaching in 1955, and taught at Thornton, Buena Vista, Queen Elizabeth and Lorne Haselton. She retired in 1982. She enjoyed her profession where each student was special to her and she is still fondly remembered by them. Mildred was predeceased by her beloved parents, Charles (August) and Caroline Junop; husband, James; brother, Arden; sister, Marguerite Chovin; and grandson, Kurt Rutledge. She is survived by her children, Bill and Linda; grandchildren, David Rutledge, Rod Haitel and Ghislaine Haitel (Paul); great grandchildren, Kelti and Leini Thompson; brothers, Bill (Peggy) Junop and Jack (Elizabeth) Junop; sisters, Winnifred Kielo and Lorena Douglas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom enjoyed baking, looking after her home, caring for her children and grandchildren, and having family gatherings. Mom was a perfectionist in all pursuits and took pride in her appearance. She touched the lives of all that she met. The family would like to thank "We Care" for kindness and respect shown to Mom, and the nurses on 5th floor Medical, St. Paul's Hospital for their excellent care given during her brief stay.

The Funeral Service will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home (East on 8th Street turn right before the railway tracks) on Thursday, March 10th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dale Morrison officiating. Gary was born on February 12, 1923 in Annaberg, Germany to Josef and Martha (nee Unger) Eberle. In 1925, the family moved to Canada, settling in the Annaheim district. Gary's mother passed away shortly after the family moved to Canada.

He attended Hat Creek School until grade 6 and then began helping on the family farm. He left the farm for a few years, moving to Lethbridge, AB where he worked in the sugar beet industry. Eventually, Gary returned to the Spalding district where he bought a quarter of land and began farming. He farmed until the early 1980's, when he retired and moved to Saskatoon. While living in Saskatoon, he kept busy as the caretaker of an apartment complex.

About eight years ago, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, and unable to live on his own any longer, Gary became a resident at the Lutheran Sunset Home until his passing. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid curler, who also was icemaker and caretaker of the Spalding Curling Rink for many years. Gary was always ready with a helping hand, willing to offer help to any family or friends in need, a trait which helped him in his role as a volunteer fireman. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his four sons, seven grandchildren and three great children: David (Darlene) Eberle of Humboldt and family, Natasha (Gavin) Paulsen and their children, Alanna and McLaren, Rodney Eberle Valene Wiles) and Byron Eberle (special friend, Eryn Siba); Glen of Edmonton and family, Donna Eberle and Bryan Eberle; Bruce Eberle Edmonton and family, Shelley Eberle (Allan Pascoe) and son, Brock, and Tyler Eberle; and Barry Eberle of Edmonton; four brothers and one sister: Hilda Eberle; Leonard (Leah) Eberle; Frank (Judy) Eberle; Eddie (Lucille) Eberle and John Eberle; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Josef and Martha Eberle; four sisters and two brothers: Nora, Elsie, Edna, Marga, Werner and Joe. The Funeral Service for Gary will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Malinoski Danyluik Funeral Home, Highway 5 East, Humboldt with Fr. Murray Kuemper, officiating. Others taking part in the service will be: organist, Kathy Detillieux; readers, Natasha Paulsen and Donna Eberle; intercessions, Byron Eberle; and words of remembrance, Marie Stevenson.

Cremation will follow, with interment at St. Martin's R.C. Cemetery, Spalding district, at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan. Deaths 1000 REID John Finlay "Jack" November 18, 1921 March 6, 2005 The family of Jack Reid is saddened to Hospital. At the 83 he went home to announce his sudden, passing at St. Paul's be with his Savior. Jack married Maebelle Nelson in 1942. Together they had five children.

In 1965 he married Eva Fredericks, who predeceased him in 2001. He leaves behind his children, Neil (Beryl), Jack (Villy), Daryle (Diana), Debby (Dave) and Wayne (Roberta); fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister, Jean (Tellef) Vaasjo; one sister-in-law, Lena Regier; cousins, Marguerite Peterson and family, and Stuart. and Finlay: Melena step and sisters family to his who children, lovingly called him Jack served overseas in the army and on his return started his career with Merlin Motors as service manager, where he retired after forty years. Our Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa will be missed deeply and loved forever. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 11th, at 1:00 p.m.

Mom passed away the same way she lived quietly and peacefully with Dad at her side. We thank God her struggles over. We love you Mom. May you rest in peace. The Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 12,2005 at 2:00 p.m.
